BEYONCE
Mystique Is Important

"Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream" New York Premiere

Didn’t Beyonce look FAB at the premiere of her HBO documentary last night? Beyonce confided to reporters she hoped Blue Ivy would enjoy it when she was old enough to watch it.

“I hope that she will see all of the beautiful times [and] all the tough times that led up to her being here. I’m hoping that… it can comfort her and inspire her in her life when she needs it.”

Beyonce also talked about making the documentary.

“Mystique is very important… It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity – just as a woman – I think it’s important. But, at the same time, I felt like it was time for me to share my story because I’ve been through so much and I have so much to celebrate, so much to share.

“There is something really powerful and liberating and freeing. I feel free. I feel like I’ve been able to heal from a lot of things because of this film and editing this film. And I’ve learned so much about myself, having to watch hours of footage of my life and my mistakes and things I did right and it just really has been an incredible learning experience.”

I have to admit, I’m SO curious to see this documentary. Are you?

I have to admit to the fact that I will be watching as well, but I’ve been telling my friends that we won’t be learning anything we don’t already know about Bey. I’m pretty sure that the ONLY major thing we’re going to be hearing about are SOME details about her miscarriage and judging from the previews it doesn’t seemed like we will be learning all that much from what she’s shown in the past with her behind the scene while on tour and other short documentaries she’s done on the past. I hope I’m wrong and learn some interesting new thing about her life that she’s never shared before or even a surprising shot of Blue Ivy, but I guess that’s just wishful thinking.
