People have been guessing about the royal baby’s name for MONTHS, and now that we have it, talk is turning to: what does the name mean? Kate Middleton and Prince William announced yesterday that their son would be named George Alexander Louis. A lot of people were guessing George since it’s the name of Queen Elizabeth’s father and grandfather. An insider warns Us Weekly, however, not to analyze the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s name selection for the new Prince of Cambridge.
“Don’t read into [the names] too much. They are not meant to be symbolic; they are just names the couple like.”
I’m sure Kate and Prince William do like the name, but it’s obvious they didn’t pick any old name. Their son’s not named Winston or a name no monarch has had before- LOL. Are you a fan of the name George Alexander Louis?
