Supermodel Tyra Banks has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the 2000 Disney film “Life-Size.” My inner tween is seriously excited about this! (My current self is also excited about it, but for the sake of not looking like a teeny bopper I’m going to downplay it a bit.)
The film, which originally co-starred Lindsay Lohan, is going to be “a modern take” on the original. Tyra confirmed to Digital Spy that the movie is definitely moving forward, saying that she was already in the process of taking meetings to go over the script! She also hinted that the movie could be released as soon as the end of this year.
In the original flick Lindsay played Casey Stuart, a young girl whose mother had just died. In an attempt to get her mother back Casey used a spell, but it ended up bringing to life her Barbie doll Eve (played by Tyra Banks) instead.
There’s no word yet on whether Lindsay will be making an appearance in the film, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she will!
