HAROLD RAMIS ‘Ghostbusters’ Actor Has Died

Screenwriter, director, and actor Harold Ramis has died today, at the age of 69 after a battle with an autoimmune disease. He leaves behind his wife, Erica Mann, and three children.

Harold was most well-known for his role as Dr. Egon Spengler in Ghostbusters, which he co-wrote with Dan Akroyd. However, he also wrote such comedy classics as National Lampoon’s Animal House, and directed Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, and National Lampoon’s Vacation, among many others.
