It looks like Chris Brown won’t be catching the break he was hoping for. After his bodyguard was found guilty of assault in Washington, D.C., Chris’s trial has been pushed back to June… meaning the singer must stay in jail until then!
Chris’s scheduled trial date was originally supposed to be April 21 and he’s been waiting in a D.C. jail since then – however now that the trial has been pushed back Chris will be transported back to L.A. to await his trial in an L.A. area jail.
No word yet on whether or not the transporting back to L.A. and then back to D.C. will be done the same way it was done this time – via U.S. Marshal. Which isn’t the swiftest way to travel… it apparently can take up to two weeks to get across country when the Marshals are transporting prisoners, since they’ve got to make pit-stops at various prisons along the way.
The R&B singer is apparently having a very hard time dealing with prison life, and is terrified that he’ll be sentenced to four years in jail once his trial is finally heard.
