Have you been following the drama between Adrienne Bailon and the Kardashians? Adrienne, who used to date Rob Kardashian, gave an interview where she spoke out about Rob’s cheating. Now Rob’s cheating wasn’t exactly a secret: he admitted it on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ However, Kim Kardashian lashed out at Adrienne’s criticism of Rob, and then Khloe Kardashian got into the fray, as did Rob himself. This all started with Adrienne saying this (in part) in an interview:
“It’s common knowledge that he cheated on me. It always bothered me that people were like, ‘Pero, why couldn’t you forgive him?’ Why are women always the ones who have to forgive? If you cheated on a man, he would be like, ‘You’re disgusting, and I want nothing to do with you.’ But women, we’re supposed to be like, ‘He messed up. He made a mistake.’
“To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late—not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show.”
Kim hit back on twitter.
Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian
#LetItGoooooLetItGoooooo (FROZEN VOICE)
So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever
Hmmm… she didn’t seem to feel it was #FamilyForever when she snubbed Rob and didn’t invite him to North West’s Kidchella birthday bash or when she called him “a baby” for bailing on the family’s Thailand trip on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ Would Kim be so upset if Adrienne had just talked about Rob’s cheating and not about her embarrassment over being associated with the Kardashians as a whole? Meanwhile, Khloe tweeted (and Rob retweeted):
That means “F**k dat b**ch.”
Well, Adrienne isn’t letting it go. She posted a message on Instagram; here’s what part of it says.
Fame and career are two different things. I’ve always had a career. I have been working hard since I was 15 years old. Being someone’s ‘girlfriend’ was never what I wanted to be famous for.
“What makes you ‘famous’ isn’t always what you want to be ‘labeled’ as, or known for. If anyone should understand that…It should be you…”
Given that Rob did cheat on her and the relationship ended badly, I’m not sure what the Kardashians are getting so upset over, especially Rob, since he himself admitted to cheating. Well, what’s another day without any Kardashian drama?
