Here’s the latest on the Kate Middleton style watch ;). Yesterday was quite a day for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge! She finally delivered baby #2: a girl. Everyone seemed ecstatic about the new princess. A lot of people, however, were also looking to see what Kate would wear for that huge moment when she left the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. I think as many people were looking at her outfit as the new baby princess! Well, the Duchess didn’t disappoint, and we’ve got all the details on her look after the break.
Just like after giving birth to Prince George, Kate went with designer Jenny Peckham for her dress. It was a custom Jenny Peckham, according to People. Rather than polka dots, however, she opted for a yellow and white floral shift dress. Isn’t it lovely? Yet again Kate blows me away with her impeccable taste!
She paired the dress with a pair of nude, round-toe Jimmy Choo “Gilbert” pumps. Those are 3.3-inch heels she wore less than 12 hours after giving birth. OMG. If you want a pair for yourself, then save up: they retail for $595.
Hair stylist Amanda Cook Tucker came to the Lindo Wing to do her hair after she gave birth, and as you can see, she did an amazing job. Amanda’s services aren’t inexpensive, either, at $454 a day. With Kate’s flair for fashion, I Can Not Wait to see her dress up her little princess! Clearly I’m a fan of Kate’s post-pregnancy style. Are you?
