Giuliana will still be a co-host on ‘Fashion Police’ as well as ‘Live From The Red Carpet.’ She released a statement about the change:
For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show. At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level. This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life.”
It sounds like Giuliana is simply reducing her hours by stepping down from the five night a week broadcast. I can see where that would free up some time to pursue other projects.
Giuliana has said before that she will have to make some changes in her schedule as her son, Duke, gets older.
Up until now, Duke’s been on our schedule. But he starts school at the end of summer and we want him to have a connection with schoolmates and not be going from city to city.”
That makes complete sense. I believe they’re based in Chicago, where Bill Rancic works, aren’t they? Since the E! Network is in LA, I can see where spending the week in LA might become too much time away from home for Giuliana. At least we’ll still get to see her on ‘Fashion Police’ and ‘Live From The Red Carpet’!
