I think it’s safe to say ‘Batman v Superman’ star Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in the movie, isn’t a fan of San Diego Comic Con. He was there last week with the rest of the cast, and now he’s promoting his movie ‘The End of the Tour.’ He opened up about how he felt about Comic Con.
Jesse said about the huge event:
It is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent.”
Genocide? Clearly he doesn’t enjoy the cheering, but genocide?
Jesse recognizes why he has to go.
The movie was received well. That’s why we go. You get to leave relatively unscathed and it’s at least a year before you have to do anything like that again.”
Look at this picture that Warner Bros shared on twitter: it’s pretty telling. Jesse is hanging out in the background, not looking too happy to be there.

Here he is talking about his character:

Sounds like he took his role pretty seriously! The little bit I saw of him in the ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ trailer suggested he will be fantastic in his role. I suspect he’s just more into the actual acting than the “celebrity” part of it ;).
