Caitlyn Jenner invited all of her kids to the ESPYs to watch her accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, but she did not invite her ex-wives. It makes sense: since they aren’t married anymore, they’re not family, technically, so they weren’t at the ESPYs. However, you know someone was going to ask Kris Jenner what she thought of Caitlyn’s speech.
Kris is clearly taking the gracious route these days. She said:
I think it was amazing and very brave. I think she looked beautiful.”
That’s a great response for her to have, isn’t it?
Kris clearly has struggled with how to deal with Caitlyn’s transition to becoming a woman, and I don’t think anyone blames her for that. She didn’t talk to ABC News when Diane Sawyer did her big interview of the then-Bruce Jenner. Kris did talk to Vanity Fair, and the tension was clear there. Now Kris has moved past that. Good for her! There’s NO way this can be easy for her, just like it isn’t easy for Caitlyn or the rest of her family.
