This sounds completely crazy to me, but Kendra Wilkinson says that being on TV actually helped save her marriage to Hank Baskett after he cheated on her with a transgender model. It’s her experience, so hey, we all have our own ways of dealing with crises, don’t we?
Kendra said that after appearing on ‘Celebrity Marriage Bootcamp,’ her marriage to Hank is “stronger than ever” as they film a new season of ‘Kendra On Top.’
It’s a very powerful season. We’re just showing the healing process. Everything that really happens after something tragic happened. We’re human. We’re not perfect people. This is pretty much a TV diary of what we’re going through.
“I had it in my mind since day one that everything will work itself out, no matter which way it goes. I think being on TV helped us expedite everything a little bit more and push us more into the therapy a lot more. It pushed us a little bit more to get to the root of our problem and the root of our feelings.
“I want to get to a place with Hank that I’ve never been before. To be stronger people. To be better people than we were before.”
I guess that’s why she’s a reality TV personality: she lives her life in front of the cameras!
I think this is a testament to how working with your spouse professionally can help you stay committed to your marriage. Hank hasn’t played in the NFL for a while now; it’s highly unlikely he’s going to play again. Their careers are in reality TV, and this cheating scandal has given them a lot of attention over the past year or so, which is vital for reality TV personalities. I wonder how much of the need to keep their reality TV business going helped inspire them to work through such a rough patch? Sometimes, anything can help when you’re really angry with a spouse! It gets you through the rough patch, giving you a chance to remember why you loved this person in the first place.
Will you be watching the new season of ‘Kendra On Top’?
