Bobbi Kristina Brown may have finally been laid to month last Monday after spending six months unconscious, but the ramifications of her death are still playing out in court. Yesterday her conservator filed an amendment to the civil lawsuit against Nick Brown, alleging that he caused her death.
Bobbi’s conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, said in a statement:
I am deeply saddened by the recent death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I extend my sincerest condolences to all of her family. Consistent with and to the letter of the civil action I initially filed on behalf of Bobbi Kristina, we will continue to pursue justice for her.
“I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count for wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown.”
The amended complaint is based on observations of camera footage and listening to conversations (that I’m guessing was recorded on security equipment?). Nick reportedly arrived at Bobbi Kristina’s townhouse at 6 am after “being out all-night on a cocaine and drinking binge.” The two reportedly “became embroiled in a large argument” that ended in the master bedroom. The papers allege:
Defendant screamed at Bobbi Kristina accusing her of cheating, going so far as to call her a ‘wh*re,’ a ‘b*ch,’ and other names. The argument lasted for about thirty minutes and then everything abruptly became quiet.”
Nick allegedly gave Bobbi Kristina a “toxic cocktail” that left her unconscious, put her in the tub facedown, and then he was seen exiting the bathroom wearing different clothes. Another woman reportedly was in the town house, whom Nick reportedly walked up to and laid his head down on her ankle, telling her:
Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.”
Fifteen minutes later, someone went to check on Bobbi Kristina and found her facedown in the bathtub with a swollen mouth and “another tooth hanging loosely from her mouth.” Nick reportedly then entered the bathroom, let the water out of the bathtub, and yelled at other people to “clean up” while others began mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. According to the papers:
Defendant then began to slap her saying, ‘wake up,’ and also started performing CPR between slaps.”
OMG. I wonder if all of this information was provided to the police? It sounds like they would have had enough to arrest him for assault and battery, at the very least, back in the winter. I hope justice is done.
