Clearly Anna Duggar is taking her marital vows very seriously. Two of her siblings reportedly have reached out to her, offering to help her leave Josh Duggar after he admitted to cheating on her and having an Ashley Madison account, and it sounds like she’s cut them off as a result.
A source said:
Some of Anna’s siblings are very angry and want her and the kids to get away from him. But they can’t make that decision for her, and it doesn’t seem like that’s what she’s going to do.”
They must be so worried and frustrated!
Anna’s sister reportedly reached out after Josh’s confession.
She texted Anna saying, ‘Please let me buy you and the kids plane tickets, and you stay with us for a little while,’ but Anna hasn’t responded. Her sister hasn’t heard from her since.”
People close to her- the Duggars and her own parents- are said to be telling her that “divorce is not an option.” A source explained:
When Anna’s sister confronted her dad about the situation, his response was, ‘Well, King David had an affair.’ “
Oh my goodness. What’s Anna’s mother’s response?
She’s very heartbroken.”
SHE’S heartbroken? How about Anna? I wonder if they’re a little “starstruck” by the Duggars even though they’ve now lost their show. Anna’s brother Daniel wrote on Facebook:
I won’t stop trying to get that pig out of our family.”
The source said that he had also offered to help Anna leave.
Daniel also offered to get her away from him, but she responded that she wasn’t interested in leaving Josh.
“[Anna’s siblings would] definitely help in any way they can. But they don’t know how, if she’s not willing.”
That’s true: ultimately, Anna is an adult. There’s still the issue of what she would do long term. I mean, it’s not just her: she and Josh have four kids. Can they move in with her siblings permanently? It would take her a while to get the skills to be able to support a family of five (herself and her children).
