Perhaps calling this the “Feel Good Video of the Day” is a bit of a misnomer. Today it’s a thought-provoking video of the day, courtesy of the good people at SoulPancake. They asked people, ranging in ages from about 5 – 95 (they say 0 – 100) the question: “What’s your greatest fear?”
As you can imagine, they gave a variety of responses. Some people had very specific fears, like “snakes” or “spiders” or “drowning.” Other (noticeably, people in their 20s and 30s, it seemed) had more existential fears, like not living up to their potential or not doing something that mattered.
Older people, on the other hand, seemed to have concerns more about health and mortality. The fear of getting Alzheimers or some other type of dementia was a fear. The fear of death. One woman pointed out that she already had experienced her greatest fear: losing the love of her life. And then some people said they didn’t have any fears. Check out the video:
