The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story airs this Wednesday and Kris Jenner is among the participants who open up in the documentary. Kris, who was friends with Nicole Brown Simpson, reflects on the painful period of her life and shares her regrets. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was married to one of O.J.’s attorneys at the time, Robert Kardashian, but she was also very close to O.J.’s deceased wife. Kris wishes that she had pushed more to help Nicole. “At the end of Nicole’s life, I think she finally was at a place where she knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble.”
She continues, “The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, ‘He’s going to kill me and he’s going to get away with it.’ ”
Kris says she carries a burden of a guilt for not helping more. “I will always feel guilty that I didn’t pay more attention and didn’t speak up when I thought anything was wrong or asked her more, ‘Do you want to talk about it?’ ”
The documentary will air on LMN at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
