Brandi Glanville may be off ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ for now, but executive producer Andy Cohen admitted he would be open to having her return to the show. There’s also been some new action in Joanna Krupa’s defamation lawsuit against Brandi.
In terms of Brandi returning to ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ in some capacity, Andy said he “would love to” have her return and explained why she was dropped from the show in the first place.
The issue with Brandi was she got isolated to a point over two seasons where she was on an island. She is now in a place where none of them want to be with her.”
When asked if the other housewives “genuinely hate” Brandi, Andy replied:
Yeah. And by the way, Brandi hates them.”
Well that doesn’t bode well for Brandi’s return! However a source said that she’s definitely open to returning.
Brandi would be happy to come back on the show, and we’ll probably see her in guest capacity.”
There’s nothing like a villain to stir up some drama, is there?
One housewife who clearly doesn’t like Brandi is Joanna Krupa. Joanna’s defamation lawsuit against Brandi alleging that Brandi said she had a “smelly vagina” (sometimes you just can’t make this stuff up) is still going on. Brandi has a new defense.
Brandi is claiming that the ‘Real Housewives’ contracts forbids them from suing each other. She admits that she hasn’t seen Joanna’s contract, but it seems like the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ contract would be very similar to the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ contract, right? They’re all Bravo contracts.
I guess the question will be: does the contract forbid the housewives from suing anyone in the franchise or just over comments made on the actual ‘Real Housewives’ shows? In other words, the comments may only cover what’s said in the actual episodes, which means that suing housewives on other shows or suing over comments made in other media outlets wouldn’t be forbidden.
I’m amazed this lawsuit is going forward; I can’t see how it’s good for either Brandi or Joanna. And hopefully Brandi will learn how to walk that fine line between doing things that make headlines without crossing the line to the point where people are suing her and won’t even work with her.
