Can you believe it’s been FOURTEEN YEARS since Renee Zellweger first appeared on the big screen in ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’? OMG. I feel so old- LOL. Renee reprised the role again in the 2004 sequel ‘Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.’ Now she’s ready to do it yet again for the new movie: ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby.’
Universal Pictures UK shared a picture of Renee as Bridget via twitter:

Oh my goodness: Bridget is BACK.
This is Renee’s first movie in a few years: her last movie before this was in 2009, where she starred in ‘Case 39’ opposite ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper. ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ is said to be something of a departure from the third book, which is ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.’ Hugh Grant chose not to return for the new movie. He said:
I decided not to do it, but I think they’re going to go ahead and to it without Daniel. The book’s excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different — well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago.”
However, Colin Firth will be back, and former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast. ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ is scheduled to hit theaters September 2016. Can Not WAIT. Are you excited about this?
