Actress Halle Berry enjoyed some girl time with daughter Nahla Aubry yesterday afternoon in West Hollywood. The mother-daughter duo were spotted picking up some goodies from the bakery and then grabbed a balloon, too.
Perhaps the cake and balloons were to celebrate Maceo’s birthday? Halle’s son turned two years old on Monday. Maybe they’re having a weekend birthday bash for him.
Halle’s had an interesting week. Her TV series ‘Extant’ was officially cancelled, so no season three is in the works at this time. But don’t despair because Halle has already moved on to another project and this one is also with CBS. She’s executive producing a new show called Legalese. The new legal drama “centers on a biracial lawyer from Chicago who follows a case to New Orleans, where she finds herself partnering with a good ol’ boy white attorney while working in a very particular justice system that will ultimately expose the biases we all harbor.”
On the cancellation of Extant, the President of CBS Entertainment shared, “CBS, Halle Berry and the producers have decided to conclude the Extant story after last season’s exciting and fitting conclusion. Extant played an important role in expanding CBS’ lineup of original scripted programming in the summer. We are proud of the show’s success on the network, as well as its popularity on Amazon Prime Video. We also want to thank the incomparable Halle Berry for her commitment and support for the series and look forward to working with her on our next project together.”
