Chelsea O’Donnell may want some privacy, but she’s still giving interviews in addition to doing photo shoots: she sat down with Inside Edition for an interview. Chelsea got very candid, talking about how she feels about her adopted mother, Rosie O’Donnell, and how she’s doing now.
When asked how she felt about Rosie, Chelsea said:
I care about her and I hope she’s doing well. But love is a big word and I wouldn’t really use that.”
When the interviewer asked Chelsea point-blank if she loved Rosie, Chelsea said:
OUCH. I think we all know 18-year-olds who think their parents are the dumbest people on the planet, and they can’t wait to get out of their clutches, but something more seems to be going on with Chelsea. It’s sad: she’s saying things you can’t easily take back at this point. Words DO hurt.
Rosie’s response on twitter was simple:

Chelsea reportedly isn’t speaking to her biological mother at this point either. All of this is so sad: she’s making choices that could very well have lifelong ramifications. I can’t even begin to imagine what Rosie is going through. Here’s a clip of Chelsea’s Inside Edition interview:
