Last night was the latest development on the most dramatic storyline of ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ by far with the big question: does Vicki Gunvalson’s now ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, have cancer or not? Yesterday Brooks admitted to faking medical documents in his effort to prove he had cancer, but he didn’t actually say that he did not have cancer: he said he faked the documents because he didn’t want to share his medical records. Now Vicki is speaking out.
Vicki had this to say about Brooks admission:
I’m completely shocked. I’ve seen the bills, I went to City of Hope.”
She talked about picking him up from the hospital after he had told her he’d undergone his first round of chemo.
He was there all morning so how do you think anything other than he’s getting chemo? You go to City of Hope because you have cancer, not because you have nothing else to do during the day.”
Brooks did make a point of saying that Vicki had nothing to do with him creating the fake medical documents from City of Hope.
I’m guilty of loving him and believing him. Who hasn’t believed someone that you loved? And why would you lie about cancer when I’ve had three friends die of it in the last two years? I had my dearest friend just die of stomach cancer.
“As God as my witness, I would never want to make something up like this; it’s actually quite sick. I’m embarrassed. I want to tell the girls I’m sorry.”
When asked if there was any chance for a reconciliation, Vicki had this to say:
Karma. I hate him, I hate him with everything in me, and I don’t hate people, but I believed him, I trusted him, I defended him, took a bullet for him when people didn’t like him.”
I don’t blame Vicki for feeling so strongly. This whole thing is CRAZY. What it really goes to show is how far people are willing to go to create some drama for reality TV.
