Bree Olson is not keeping quiet about her feelings about her ex, Charlie Sheen, who announced he was HIV positive a couple of days ago. She’s making the media rounds to voice her feelings, and it’s clear: she’s not willing to let him off the hook just yet.
Bree said Charlie’s disclosure that he was diagnosed “around four years ago” is too “wishy-washy” for her.
It would give me peace of mind for Charlie to say a date.”
He should be able to do that: the date should be in his medical records, right? Charlie’s rep said that he was not with Bree when he was diagnosed, but if they were dating in 2011, and he was diagnosed in 2011, then it does seem like she should have been notified, if only so she could have gotten herself tested then. I can understand why she’s upset. Bree has had herself tested for HIV, however, and her results were negative, thank goodness.
Bree was one of the two “goddesses” who was with Charlie during his infamous meltdown that led to his firing from ‘Two and a Half Men.’ The other one, Natalie Kenly, has been defending Charlie. Bree said this about Natalie’s defense of their ex-boyfriend:
We should be together on this, like, ‘Charlie, why didn’t you tell?’ That’s all I want from him — to be a decent human being and to have let us know that this was going on.”
At this point, Bree has one message for her ex:
Charlie, you’re a terrible person. I will never forgive you.”
OUCH. There’s no mincing words or ambiguity there. Do you think Bree is planning to file a lawsuit for emotional distress? I wouldn’t be surprised, and I can’t say I blame her. Given the apparent timeline of Charlie’s diagnosis, she should have been notified, it seems like.
