All of the ramifications around Charlie Sheen’s HIV status and sexual activity do seem to have cost the actor. He reportedly has to sell the $6 million home he bought for Brooke Mueller and their twin boys, six-year-old Bob and Max.
However, Charlie won’t be pocketing the money: it will go to Bob and Max. An insider explained:
Charlie only has one house. The other two houses were each bought as a trust for his kids, one for Sam and Lola and the other for Bob and Max, and are controlled by their mothers [Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, respectively]. If the houses are sold, the money goes right to his kids.”
So I guess the proceeds from the house will go towards his child support payments?
The source said that Charlie is doing his best to take care of his kids.
Charlie has been extremely generous to his kids and always has taken care of them. He still sees them and wants to have a strong relationship with them. He always puts his kids first now. So the houses don’t have anything to do with the extortion.”
As Charlie himself said during his interview with Matt Lauer about the settlements he had to pay to get people to keep quiet about his HIV status:
What people forget is that’s money they’re taking from my children. They think it’s just me, but I’ve got five kids and a granddaughter. …I release myself from this prison today.”
Something tells me his disclosure only released him from the people threatening to disclose his HIV status. For all the people he had sexual relations with, it might be a different story, unfortunately. Charlie genuinely is a funny actor. His personal demons make it tough for him, though.
