It may be the holiday season, but it’s not all festivities: two celebrity couples have split. Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid called off their engagement, while Yolanda Foster and David Foster announced their decision to divorce.
In the case of Courteney and Johnny, it sounds like they may have moved a bit too fast. They reportedly got engaged after just six months of dating. Sources told TMZ that they had a hard time compromising over lifestyle choices.
She enjoys going out with friends, but he’s more low-key and private.
They reportedly tried counseling, but they weren’t able to overcome their differences. It’s too bad, but at least they figured it out before getting married. Johnny is said to have returned to his native England.
Meanwhile, former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ cast member Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, are divorcing after four years of marriage. The couple released a statement:
Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways. We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.
We are grateful for the years we’ve spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best. I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another.”
Yolanda has been married four times and has been struggling with Lyme Disease for quite some time. Again, it’s too bad.
