Anna Duggar isn’t keeping her silence on the TLC special ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On.’ In last night’s episode, Anna opened up more about her feelings after Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on her when his name was revealed on the Ashley Madison infidelity website.
It felt like a bad dream. It’s such a betrayal for a spouse for through what we’re walking through and it was hard.
“In my heart, it was like, how could this happen in our marriage? Josh was my first love, my one and only. But, I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith, because if I went off what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster.”
Now that makes complete sense. I mean, remember the circumstances: Anna had given birth to their fourth child less than two months before Josh was publicly outed as a cheater. She has a newborn and three other children at home. As far as I know, she doesn’t have a job. A divorce would likely be a disaster from a financial standpoint, at the very least.
Anna is still relying on her faith.
In my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, ‘For better or for worse. ‘Til death do we part.’ I pray that through all of this that I would be an extension of God’s love to Joshua, that I would love him and forgive him and wait patiently and allow God to work through our hearts.
“My prayer and my heart’s desire is for our marriage to be restored.”
Well, if that’s what she wants, then let’s hope it works out for Anna and Josh. Let’s really hope this celebrity blind item isn’t true! Take a look at the clip of Anna on ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On.’
