Rob Kardashian is back home after being being rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with diabetes. He’s been living a reclusive lifestyle for the past couple of years, not appearing on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and reportedly gaining 100 lbs. Doctors are said to have told him that he needs to rethink his lifestyle to avoid serious health issues.
A source talked about what happened that led to Rob going to the hospital.
Rob had stomach problems over the weekend and didn’t feel well. He was at the hospital briefly,. He has to take medicine now to control his blood sugar level.
“He was also told he needs to rethink his whole lifestyle. He needs to see a dietician and change the way he eats. If he doesn’t change his lifestyle, he was told that it could have serious consequences.”
Diabetes can lead to a lot of health complications, so hopefully he does take this seriously!
Sources claim that when Rob went to the hospital, doctors found high levels of blood acids (a.k.a. ketones), so he was diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis. When blood acids get really high, it can lead to a diabetic coma, so it’s a good thing Rob went to the hospital.
However, he reportedly was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, which can go into remission if a person loses enough weight and changes their diet, lowering their blood sugar. Hopefully Rob will start to make the lifestyle changes he needs to become healthy.
