Hugh Jackman Will Star In 'Real Steel'
Hugh Jackman has lined up his next project, and it looks like a winner! The movie is called 'Real Steel,' and it's being executive produced by Steven Spielberg. 'Real Steel' is based on a short story by Richard Matheson.
Story centers on a fighter who has to reinvent himself when human boxers are replaced by robots. Jackman will play a struggling Robot Boxing promoter who finds a discarded robot that always seems to win. He also discovers he has a 11-year-old son, and they bond as the robot brawls its way toward the top.
Although grounded in the father-son relationship... the film [is] a "rousing sports movie" with Jackman's character "a former boxer who can no longer do the only job he's good at, and one particular robot that may be his return to grace."
With Hugh and Steven involved, it certainly looks promising. Interested?

John Mayer Feels A Special Kinship With Gerard Butler
While John Mayer was giving an interview to Details magazine (it's in their December issue), he encountered actor Gerard Butler. The two reportedly spoke briefly. When the interview asked John about the conversation, John explained the connection he feels with Gerard.
"We talked about New York . . .We're in a bit of the same position of being branded womanizers."
John said he dislikes the whole idea of dating/not dating someone for professional reasons.
"You just never know who's going to come into your life," he says. "To my mind, the only thing sicker than saying, 'Wow, you're a famous person and it would do a lot for my career to go out with you,' is to say, 'Wow, you're a famous person and I like you and all, but I can't do that to my career.' I don't think either of those is a good option."
And what does John have to say to his detractors?
"What if I had a booth on the street and I said, 'Attention, everybody who hates me: If you have a problem with me, I'm ready to hear your gripes! ....I will only be speaking to people who do not like me. Come out and let me have it. I will not speak back.' "

Paula Deen Assaulted With A Ham
Why would someone do this? Food Network cook Paula Deen was in Atlanta yesterday for the annual Hosea Feed the Homeless charity event. They were loading hams in the truck when someone came up and threw one at her, hitting her in the face!
Luckily, Paula had a good sense of humor about it afterwards.
"I think it might have hit maybe just right where, I thought it busted my lip, but it didn't," said Deen.
While Deen managed to escape visible injury, she did say the area around her nose hurt.
"I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect said Deen through laughter. "Ran head on to a hog."
Then Paula took to twitter to declare:
I haven't met the ham that could stop me yet! Y'all it's just the best feeling to help others

Police Chief Found Guilty In Sarah Jessica Parker Twins Case
A police chief has been found guilty of handling stolen items related to the pregnancy of Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate twins.
Ohio police chief Barry Carpenter, 40, and another police chief, were accused of meeting with freelance photographers and offering them items concerning surrogate mother Michelle Ross’ pregnancy including poems, photos, legal documents about the surrogacy agreement, and pictures of ultrasounds.
Carpenter was eventually found guilty of three of the six counts against him, of receiving stolen property, theft in office and tampering with evidence. He was found not guilty of burglary and unauthorized use of property or services.
The officer will be sentenced on December 10, and faces up to 10 years in prison for his abuse of power and crimes. In the meantime he will be made to stay at his mother’s home and wear an electronic tag to monitor his movements.
In a videotaped interview presented to the court Carpenter said:
“I stand by what I say. I didn't burglarize no home. I don't want to give up a 17-year police career for something that was a joke."
Carpenter claims he only went into the house to secure the premises after noticing a door was ajar and did not take anything from the house.
Michelle Ross, 26, gave birth to the twin girls for Jessica and husband Matthew Broderick last June. She also testified in the trial against Carpenter.
The police chief’s alleged accomplice, Chief Chad M. Dojack, 29, will stand trial in January.
Money will do crazy things to people. This "joke" might end Carpenter's career. Hope it was worth it.

Matching Tattoos For Miley Cyrus And Her Brother
Miley Cyrus and her brother are getting matching tattoos.
Metro Station rocker Trace Cyrus has several pieces of body art, and after getting a matching design to his singer father Billy Ray Cyrus he now can’t wait until 17-year-old Miley is old enough to have her flesh inked too.
“I already have a matching one with my dad, there’s no reason I wouldn’t do it with my siblings. Someone you’re that close to, it’s something that means something to you obviously, so why wouldn’t you do it?”
Miley is unable to share the experience of getting a tattoo with her brother for another year, but the siblings – who are currently touring together – are happy to swap relationship tips with one another. Single Trace told America’s OK! magazine:
“She helps me with my girl problems, I talk to her about boys she’s talking to. She has a smart head on her shoulders and anything that she decides is going to be the right decision.”
Trace, 20, also revealed he and his mother Tish are getting matching tattoos done.
“My mom’s going to get a ribcage tattoo that is definitely the biggest tattoo she’s ever gotten. I’m definitely proud of her for that. It will definitely be a little bit different of an experience for me. I’ve never gone to get a tattoo with my mom ever. She’s taken me to get a tattoo but we’ve never both gotten one at the same time.”

Courteney Cox Back To Work
I was worried when I heard 'Cougartown' had to halt filming so Courteney Cox could attend to a family matter, but whatever happened has been resolved: Courteney is returning to work on November 30.
The nature of the family issue wasn't disclosed. But Cox's reps confirm to PEOPLE the actress and her family are fine and that she'll be returning to work following the Thanksgiving hiatus.
One of Courteney's co-stars, Busy Phillips, twittered this:
Cougartown was only down for one day- we're back shooting after Thanksgiving. I'll pass along the love for cc!
E! Online's Watch with Kristen reported that Courteney's husband, David Arquette, is filming a movie ('The Land of the Astronauts') and never stopped working.
A source close to the actor says filming has been business as usual in recent days with "no apparent" family issues interfering.
"David is a pro and seems to talk to his family often," the source says.
Well, whatever it was, I'm glad everything seems to be better!

Kate Hudson Visits A Hair Salon
Here's Kate Hudson picking up a few goodies from a beauty salon in LA. The actress has created a lot of buzz with her performance in 'Nine'. In fact, some are hoping she end up on Broadway.
Nicole Kidman said: "I came into the rehearsal and I saw Kate dancing up a storm. That was my first day and I was very jet-lagged but I went, 'Wow, that was amazing.' I can't wait for people to see that part of her. Maybe she'll do a Broadway show out of this because she so deserves the lead in a show."
And director Rob Marshall couldn't agree more: "She (Hudson) has this hidden talent that nobody knows about. She opened her mouth to sing and there was this incredible singer and then when she moved I saw this proper dancer. She was a knock-out and it was thrilling to discover. I'm so proud of what she did in this film."
Can't wait to see Kate work her magic!

Lady Gaga Spent $1000 On Pizza For Fans
Lady Gaga spent $1,000 on pizza for fans waiting for her autograph.
The ‘Bad Romance’ singer ordered 80 cheese pizzas for people who were waiting for her autograph outside a Los Angeles store where she was scheduled to do a record signing. She wrote on her Twitter page:
"Sending all my little monsters little pizzas for waiting all night for me at Best Buy. I hope you're hungry... eat up I love u! (sic)."
As well as splashing out $1,000 on the pizzas, which were provided by fast-food chain Papa John’s, Lady Gaga is also said to have tipped “very, very well”.
The ‘LoveGame’ singer also thanked her fans for making her latest release, ‘The Fame Monster’, number one in the iTunes charts. She wrote on Twitter:
“To all my beautiful fans, I love you more than anything. Thank u 4 making the fame monster number 1 on itunes. You are the only reward I need x gaga (sic).”
Lady Gaga’s generosity to her fans was also displayed when she released a set of bizarre gifts which she gave away with a collector’s edition of ‘The Fame Monster’, which included a lock of her blonde hair, a personal note from the songstress and a jigsaw puzzle.
