Tilda Swinton Attends Premiere For 'The Invisible Frame'

Tilda Swinton was seen at the premiere of "The Invisible Frame" at Kino Arsenal in Berlin over the weekend.
In 1988 the British director Cynthia Beatt, who is based in Berlin, embarked on a journey into little-known territory. She filmed Tilda Swinton as they followed the Berlin Wall, capturing the inward-looking West Berlin and the over-the-Wall views of East Berlin.
In June 2009, Cynthia Beatt and Tilda Swinton re-traced the line of the Wall that once isolated Berlin from East and West Germany. “The Invisible Frame“ describes this journey, the print of a second foot, a Wall’s fall and 21 years later, through varied landscapes, this time on both sides of the former Wall.
Sounds really interesting!! Something you might want to see? I am such a huge fan of Tilda and everything she does.

'Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show' Pokes Fun At Marlee Matlin
Honestly, I couldn't even get through the entire video. I had to stop it once Alex Borstein started to sing 'Poker Face'. I mean... who thought of this skit? Not my cup o' tea.
This video was taken from 'Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show' and also features Seth MacFarlane and Marlee Matlin. She does come out midway and starts to make fun of Alex which I suppose is suppose to make the deaf jokes better????
What do you think about the whole thing? All in good fun? Or completely offensive?

Blind Item (My Very Own!)

Guess which middle aged rocker has a problem with an over-stuffed nose? While performing, he shot snot rockets onto the stage after each song set. YES! For the entire concert. A family member of mine paid good money to see this East Coast legend, and is now officially turned off by the whole thing. She counted at least 7 different occasions where he held and blew RIGHT ONTO THE STAGE FLOOR and then continued to walk right over the mess he left while revving up the crowd.
No tissues were used. Just his hands...
yuck
Thandie Newton Is Not A Flirt
Thandie Newton doesn't flirt. The 'Crash' actress - who has two daughters, eight-year-old Ripley and Nico, four, with her husband, writer Ol Parker - has strong friendships with her male pals because she never tries to manipulate them with her sexuality.
"I've never dated an actor, just had the odd fling. Isn't that weird? I don't flirt with people - a long time ago, I stopped using my sexuality to have a relationship with people.
"I don't really think you get a sense of me, sexually, and that's why I have really great relationships with straight men."
Although she has never had a relationship with a co-star, Thandie admitted she has a crush on John Cusack, who also appears in her new movie '2012'.
He's so sweet! Remember 'Say Anything' and the scene where he's holding up the stereo? John is smart; he's got great integrity and he's got that look. Like he would know what to do with you. He's a very sexy man. Even my mum was like, 'Ooh yes!' "
LOL! I couldn't find the original on YouTube, so this remake will have to do. Imagine being on that escalator having NOT seen the movie?

Gwyneth Paltrow To Play Nicole Kidman's Wife
Gwyneth Paltrow is to play Nicole Kidman’s wife. The ‘Iron Man’ actress has signed on to replace Charlize Theron in ‘The Danish Girl’, an adaptation of a novel about the first post-operative transsexual.
The film follows Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener who found success after Einar stood in for a female model that Greta was set to paint. As their work gained popularity, Greta encouraged her husband to continue to adopt a female guise.
This eventually led to Einar undergoing a sex change operation in 1931, shocking the world and threatening their marriage.
Anand Turker is set to direct the film, which screenwriter Lucinda Coxon is adapting from David Ebershoff's novel of the same name.
Last week, Nicole said she actively sought out “extreme” film choices and explored all aspects of love, sex and marriage.
"In the end I hope my life will be a mix of extreme love and bold artistic choices. I've never wanted to be safe. I've never chosen safe relationships. And I've never chosen safe films."
This will certainly not be a blockbuster, but is it a story you are interested in hearing? Does it become more intriguing now that you know it's based on true events?

Fact Or Fiction: Madonna And Jesus Luz Are Getting Engaged
Madonna is “on edge” about meeting her boyfriend’s parents. The ‘Celebration’ singer is set to fly to Brazil to meet her 23-year-old boyfriend Jesus Luz’s mother Cristiane Regina da Silva and his father Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz, for the first time. A friend of model Jesus says it might even mean the couple is planning on getting engaged:
“She is slightly on edge. But an engagement could be on the cards.”
Jesus – who has been dating the pop star since late last year – is desperate to be “taken seriously”, get married and secure their relationship.
"Madonna really does love and need Jesus - and she does not hold all the power in their relationship. He grew up with strong Christian beliefs.
"He wants to marry and be taken seriously. She doesn't want to lose Jesus and so the visit to his parents is her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent.
"He wants proof of commitment and he wants her to make an honest man of him."
The meetings proves the pair have put their recent disagreement behind them.
The couple reportedly rowed after Madonna – who has children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, nine, David Banda and Mercy, both four - said she would rather be “run over by a train” than marry again following her split from movie director Guy Ritchie, with the model begging his 51-year-old love to rethink her vow.
According to the singer’s biographer Randy Taraborrelli, she has already had a change of heart.
Madonna is telling close friends and family that 'I definitely see myself marrying him. It's on the table'."
If the nuptials go ahead, this will be Madonna’s third wedding. She was also wed to actor Sean Penn between 1985 and 1989.
What do you think about this rumor? Fact or Fiction?

John Mayer Defends Britney Spears' Lip-Synching Scandal
John Mayer has defended Britney Spears for lip-synching in Australia. The ‘Gravity’ singer – who is also in Australia promoting his latest album – blasted fans who had called for a refund after the ‘Womanizer’ star’s show in Perth after she sparked outrage by not singing live for her whole performance.
“If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you."
Britney, 27, was said to have hid in her hotel room on Saturday following her performance on Friday night. A representative for the star said:
"Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it."
In response to the show fans protested about the high ticket prices and “impersonal” nature of the show. Concertgoer Wendy Di Renzo, 36, said:
"It was so impersonal. She did not interact with her audience. There were no big TV screens projecting the action, so if you didn't know Britney, you might have even doubted it was her."
Complaints against the ‘Gimme More’ singer also included that she never referred to Perth by name, instead giving a generic welcome to fans, saying: "What's up Australia?"
Another fan, who left the show early, said:
"I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing."
Britney will next perform in Melbourne on November 11.
What do you think about this uproar? She's been doing this since the beginning of her career. I wonder why it's suddenly become such a problem for concert goers?

Marla Sokoloff Married Alec Puro This Weekend
Anyone watch 'The 'Practice'? Marla Sokoloff from the drama married longtime boyfriend Alec Puro this weekend at Beverly Hill's Il Cielo restaurant in front of 100 guests. The paparazzi happened to be there to photograph the bride entering the ceremony. How sweet!
I am just LOVING that black sash around her waist. I wish that was in style 8 years ago when I married!
"Marla looked beyond stunning. She took a few deep breaths and briefly teared up before she entered the restaurant. She seemed a bit nervous, but still looked very happy," reports an onlooker.
So what did the inside of the restaurant look like?
Celebrity florist Mark's Garden decorated the venue with flowers in warm colors, with dark red roses. Twinkling lights, candles and chandeliers created a romantic mood.
The festivities begun with a reception where guests mingled while enjoying champagne, fruit and puff pastries. Tables were adorned with candles and roses, and classical music played.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds spent a few moments alone in a cozy backroom with a fireplace. The reception included an Italian sit-down dinner and dancing. At the end of the night, guests were treated to wedding cake from Buttercake Bakery.
Congrats to the happy couple!

Eva Mendes Attends Screening For 'Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans'

Eva Mendes looked amazing as she attended a screening of 'Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans' in NYC last night. That Rachel Zoe sure knows how to work her magic.
Have you heard about the movie which also stars Val Kilmar and Nicolas Cage?
Terence McDonagh is a drug- and gambling-addled detective in post-Katrina New Orleans investigating the killing of five Senegalese immigrants.
Right up my alley.
