So happy for them!!! Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have finally confirmed what we've all been speculating...she's pregnant! Pete wrote up a little something in his blog to share the good news with the world.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

Well, now we won't have to play the "Is that a bump or is she expecting a food baby," game. :)

Congrats to the newlyweds, this really is a special time in their lives.

Ashlee has also said that she has taken Pete's last name and will go by Simpson-Wentz publicly.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," the pop star lil' sis of Jessica Simpson told the magazine. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."

“Usually, by the way he looks at her. It’s not just that he can’t take his eyes off her; he has a different look. I’m not exactly sure how to explain how it’s different – it just is.”

In Touch Weekly is claiming that George Clooney and Sarah Larson have called it quits!

According to a friend of Sarah's, the Leatherheads star recently moved out of his LA home while the 29-year-old former Las Vegas cocktail waitress removed her belongings. "George is relieved to be single again," says an insider. "He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her."

As In Touch previously reported, George, 47, and Sarah struggled to make their relationship work because of their different backgrounds. "The truth is that they had little in common and he just doesn't want to be tied down," explains the insider. George’s rep told In Touch: “I can only confirm that we have never commented on George's personal life.”

I can't keep up with these two...one second they're broken up, the next they're back together but she's giving him ultimatums, and now UsWeekly is reporting that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are back together under one condition...her dad stays out of the relationship.

Tony "did agree to go to [sister Ashlee's] wedding -- keeping his promise to Jessica, but he made it super-clear that if they were to give it another go, her dad had to seriously back off."

Their being together is on "trial" and is dependent on Papa Joe "leaving them alone". Ouch, that's rough...and you always have to wonder how long a relationship with conditions can really last. Whether you like it or not, a significant others often come with baggage, including family...which is not something that's easy to change.

On coming to Cannes:

Yeah, I'm OK, so far I'm just fine. Everybody said I didn't have to come, but I was feeling all right. It's not such hard work. I'm sitting and talking a lot and everybody is being nice to me.
If anything, being pregnant and not working I've had more time to read and study, to do all those things that I don't when I'm working.

On her pregnancy weight gain:

No, I haven't [gained elsewhere]. It's genetics. Dad's a lanky person. I'm actually trying to put on as much weight as possible so I can stretch, you know. I want as much room as possible.

On good friend Gwen Stefani, also due around the same time -- again!:

Somehow we keep ending up pregnant at the exact same time. We were having a play-date and Gwen was trying to figure out what she was going to wear as she got more pregnant and I asked her if she had any spare clothes, and she gave me this [L.A.M.B. casual black] dress.

Plans after the birth of the twins:

I plan to disappear for at least a month or two afterwards.
