Los Angeles vertically integrated knitwear company
LA Made's concept sounds familiar, but their aim is for a higher-end audience- hence the mini-shops at
Revolve Clothing,
Bloomingdales (currently out of stock) and
Shop Robertson. They've earned celebrity fans like
Jessica Alba and
Eva Longoria.
Sure, the cuts are cute, and the brand bills itself as trendy but affordable, but do
you think the extra flourishes are worth the price jump over that
other LA- based vertically-manufacturing knitwear company? Looks are clockwise from top left.
Crop Prague french terry jacket, $70, also in brown. At
Revolve. Available
here. (To me: versatile, cute, and different. Worth it.)
Double U ruffle tank, $33. Four colors. Available
here. At
Revolve. (For a cotton tank? Not worth it.)
Smock back dress with buttons, $85. Available
here at
Madison Los Angeles. (Yes for me, because of the simple color, great detailing, and appropriate-for-anywhere knee length.)
Viceroy dress, $59,
Shop Robertson, available
here. (Probably a no for me.)
