Abbie Cornish wears ELIE SAAB to the New York Premiere of director/writer Jane Campion’s critically-acclaimed film Bright Star. Cornish was a contender for the ‘Best Actress Award’ at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival for her performance as Fanny Brawne, devoted lover of famed poet John Keats.
The Australian beauty graced the red carpet in a strapless crepe and silk satin floor-length dress in teal from the ELIE SAAB Autumn/Winter RTW 2009/2010 Collection.

Ryan Phillippe And Abbie Cornish Go Public
Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have finally taking their romance public after months of speculations of about what was going on between the two of them. He accompanied her to the 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards.
"They were adorable," says a guest. "He had his arm around her and they were cozy and comfortable."
When
Cornish – who was being honored with a Breakthrough Award – was
introduced, Phillippe rubbed her back while she leaned against his
shoulder. Throughout the evening, they held hands.
I'm glad both he and Reese Witherspoon have been able to move on civilly, without nasty public comments and things of that nature, as we have seen with so many other celebrity divorces. What do you think about Ryan and Abbie as a couple?
