Alec Baldwin Talks Plastic Surgery And Kim Basinger
Alec Baldwin wants cosmetic surgery. The 51-year-old star is considering going under the knife because he is unhappy with the effect the aging process is having on his looks.
"I'm not saying I wouldn't do something! I intend to do something. I probably will.
“Let's put it this way, I wouldn't rule it out because... You don't think I wake up every day and wish I looked like this and this and this? But I can't let that bother me."
It's funny to hear men talking about plastic surgery. Whenever I think about the industry pressuring someone - it's always a female.
But Alec - who had a butt double for his new movie ‘It’s Complicated’ – is happy with some parts of his body.
"I have a great a*s, if I may say so. That's a part of my body that needs no surgical enhancement or rearranging."
Alec - who split from his actress wife of eight years Kim Basinger in 2001 – admitted he regrets the end of his marriage. The actor – who plays a man who rekindles his relationship with his former wife in ‘It’s Complicated’ – told Entertainment Weekly magazine:
“It is complicated. I had a pretty tough divorce myself, so sometimes I sit there and I go, 'Well, should I have worked it out?’ Maybe I should have tried harder. "
But he believes relationships are a risk – and not everybody has a lifelong marriage.
“It’s what you teach your children about their love lives. No risk no reward. Not everybody gets so lucky, where they have a family and a marriage forever and ever."
That's becoming more and more true in today's society. I think statistically the divorce rate is now over 50%.

Alec Baldwin Went Nude For Meryl Streep
But it was in the name of art! '30 Rock' star Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep star in the film 'It's Complicated,' which is about a divorced couple that rekindles their relationship (kinda) when they see each other for their son's college graduation.
"When you do a movie that you like or you're hopeful about, you'll go to any lengths if it seems right. And I was taking my clothes off for her," he says, pointing to Streep. "Not for you, the public. Big difference."
Although Alec reportedly shows a lot of skin in the film, he did have some, um, assistance.
"The guy who was my a** double, he worked on 30 Rock one day and he dined out on it the whole week. He showed up and told everybody, 'I was Alec’s a** double.' It's a sick business."
Acting is certainly a different business- LOL. Alec said he would be willing to show himself on screen: for the right price.
"You gotta pay me a lot of money," he says.
Fair enough! Meanwhile, Meryl is fine with not having done any nudity for the film.
"I don't think if we had romped through half of this movie completely naked it would have added to the film. It’s about the intimacy of marriage and the comfort and the mess of it. It felt like what we did was exactly right."

Quote Of The Day: Alec Baldwin On Tom Cruise's Salary
Alec Baldwin must know that Tom Cruise has a great sense of humor. Alec was hosting the Elle magazine's annual Women in Hollywood dinner and awards show and took a few funny cracks at Tom's high salary.
Speaking on the large gap in wages between men and women in Hollywood he said:
"I believe we can balance the scales if Tom Cruise would lower his quote by a mere $29 million,"
"I realize this may be a bit unfair since he's not here to defend himself and I really don't want to put this all on one man, but if I had to, that man would be Tom Cruise…I assure you my salary would not make a difference. My annual salary is the budget for Altoids on one of Tom's movies."
Katie was in the audience and reportedly enjoyed a chuckle over the comments. And I'd bet that Tom had a good laugh over it when he heard about it. :)

Do you like to see the behind-the-scenes shots of your favorite shows being filmed? I have three this morning to share.
- Alec Baldwin was seen walking around the set of the untitled Nancy Meyers project in downtown Manhattan.
- Jon Hamm and January Jones shot a scene for 'Mad Men' in Pasadena, California.
- Keith Carradine and Michael C. Hall looked like they were laughing a bit in between takes while on the Los Angeles set of 'Dexter'.
Anyone I know that watches Dexter says it's the best show on television. Are you a fan? Haven't gotten into it yet.

Celebrities At The Welcome To Gulu Exhibition
This post is so timely!!! I just spent the last three days re-watching the X-Men series and falling in love with Famke Janssen all over again. At the end of last night's movie, I went on and on about how Famke doesn't work as much as I would like her to until my husband finally told me to let it go.
This morning I wake up to find her FINALLY attending a public event. Famke stays VERY low key. We typically only get a photo of her when she is walking her dog. Never shopping, never on the red carpet... under the radar as happy as can be.
Thank goodness for last night's event!
Nicolas Cage, Alec Baldwin, Famke Janssen along with 'The View' co-host Joy Behar all came out to view the 'Welcome to Gulu' exhibition held at United Nations in New York last night. I think one of the perks to being a celebrity is the chance to be able to go to all these wonderful art openings, Broadway plays, and even The White House Correspondents Dinner. What a history to share with your children!
If you were somehow able to attend any one event on opening night which would it be? I definitely wouldn't mind the Met Gala!

Alec Baldwin Apologizes
Alec Baldwin lashed out the other day saying that NBC wasn't doing enough to promote 30 Rock and instead focused too much on other shows (Scrubs and My Name Is Earl) that were "done" and "cooked." He said that NBC was determined to, "wring the last drops" out. He's since apologized to both shows,
"My apologies to the cast and crews of My Name Is Earl and Scrubs. In
my frustration with NBC’s reprehensible promotion of 30 Rock, I took an
unfortunate swipe at both of those shows and that was not cool."
He couldn't leave out just one dig though.
"But, for Earl’s creator, Greg Garcia, who referred to me as a
‘psychotic’, I have only one question: Why are you Scientologists
always rendering these medical opinions you aren’t qualified to give?"
Scrubs might be on their way out since we've been hearing that both Zach Braff and Judy Reyes are leaving...but as long as Zach's still there the show is alive and kicking!
Jennifer Aniston Back To Work On 30 Rock
Yeah! More pictures of Jennifer Aniston filming for 30 Rock have become available. This scene she is working alongside Alec Baldwin who appears to be carrying a gun. We know she's playing a stalker, and from the looks of it, she has a thing against cops. I can't wait to see this episode!
