For anyone who thought Amy Winehouse was working it out, I have some bad news. The soulful singer recently requested her 48 bottles of Jack Daniels for her 2 day stay at the Bestiival festival on the Isle Of Wight this weekend. That's not humanly possible right? Even if she had 10 guys with her that's not humanly possible??

A source from The Sun reports:

It’s common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organizers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel’s, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short 2 day stay.

And festival bosses fear the huge amount of alcohol may lead to trouble.

"Everyone is really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there are now fears she is planning something wild."

It was announced earlier this week that organizers of Bestival have been forced to organize a back-up plan in case Winehouse cancels OR DIES FROM DRINKING ALL THAT WHISKEY at the last minute. The star was recently threatened with legal action for scrapping her planned performance at a French musical festival just hours before she was due on stage.

Amy Winehouse has turned to Buddhism in an effort to rid herself of drugs and alcohol. A source told The Sun that Amy was inspired by a band mate who insisted the religion would put the singer back on the right path.

"One of her musicians introduced Amy to Buddhist chanting. She chants for ten minutes in the morning and just before she sleeps. Amy has also been watching the interview clip of Tina Turner on YouTube and she reckons it’s already affecting her in a positive way."

Singer Tina Turner turned to Buddhism after she split from her rocker husband Ike Turner in 1975.

Of course, this isn't coming from a doctor who's actually treated Amy Winehouse.  And anyone who's ever seen the scrambled egg commercials, "This is your brain on drugs," has to have some idea of what drugs will do to your brain.

Really, the whole story is just that people are worried about what her two overdoses have done to her grey matter. 

Amy Winehouse may have brain damage after suffering two major overdoses in the past 12 months where she binged on crystal meth, heroin and cocaine, it emerged today. The singer also smoked pot in a 36-hour marathon session in July where she suffered such bad convulsions, they were 'like a scene from The Exorcist', a close friend told The Sun. 

 

I keep waiting for this girl to turn it around but I'm starting to doubt if that will ever happen.

People will think of anything to make a list about. Today, we have a bad skin poll and Amy Winehouse has taken top spot with Britney Spears coming in last. From a UK skincare company, here is the rest of the list:

She just doesn't care. That's the end of it. This girl does not care anymore. With flashing lightbulbs and cameras all around her, Amy Winehouse decided she needed a little coke to get her going last month during her DJ set in a Camden pub. Click here to see it.

Now Blaaaakkkke’s mother Georgette Civil wants Amy locked up like her recovering drug addict son son. And last night Georgette told the News of the World:

“Prison will do Amy far more good than Rehab. I’m shocked by the video. When I look at Amy I think: ‘For Christ’s sake, just get a grip of yourself.’ “Enough is enough. “As the police know Amy is a drug addict - and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs - they should arrest her and put her behind bars. Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work.

“Amy doesn’t want to give up drugs, so she’s got to learn the hard way in prison. “Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop. “The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom.”

You tell her sister! But there is more. Blaaaakkkeeee's mom believes that Amy is going to be a bad influence on her now cleaned up son. She FEARS for their reunion. 

“Since Blake has been in prison Amy has just deteriorated more and more while he has managed to get himself clean inside. Blake told me: ‘I promise you mum, when I get out of prison I will sort Amy out.’ But she has deteriorated to such an extent that I know even Blake can’t save her now.

“Now I don’t want Amy to visit my son. He is doing really, really well without her. Instead Amy must concentrate on getting herself clean. A couple of weeks in rehab won't do it. She needs to stay in there for the next four months until Blake comes out of prison - or be locked up in jail until she gets herself clean. Blake hopes she will beat drugs for him and save their marriage. But it’s clear Amy loves drugs more than her husband. All she seems to care about is her next fix.”

I fear for their reunion as well. For BOTH parties. Blake was no prize before he went into prison. Let's hope what mom is saying is correct. That he has seen the light and has become a better person because of it.

I've officially lost count. How many times has this been for Amy Winehouse? I want to believe that this time it will stick. But who knows if it was Amy requesting the submission. Odds are she was forced back into rehab and those patients don't typically take the program as seriously as those who willingly enter.

Amy chose a facility in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk right next to the jail where Blaaaakkkeee is currently serving his 27 months. That way she can hop on over and see him during visiting hours.

The star’s father Mitch says,

"This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good."

What do you think? Is there any hope for Amy?

Amy Winehouse performed live for the thousands who attend the V Festival at Highlands Park in Essex County, England. But due to traffic issues, she arrived 20 minutes late, forcing her band to fill up the time for anger onlookers. Once Amy hit the stage, the crowd showed their non appreciation by booing the singer. But naturally, she won them over once she began her set.

And because Amy can't help herself, she was booed once again when she dedicated her track Wake Up Alone to her jailed husband, Blaaaaaaake Fielder-Civil.

You know how these reports go. Three people boo out of 60,000 and suddenly it's a breaking report. Personally, Amy looks put together in these shots. The best she's looked on stage in a long time. I'm rooting for this girl big time!

Amy Winehouse was photographed walking with her god daughter over to Dingwalls a local bar in her London neighborhood last night. Wouldn't it be great if the title read, "Amy Winehouse Attends Charitable Function" or "Amy Winehouse Visits Salon"? 

Yesterday Amy's bodyguard was involved in a brawl. After leaving the venue, Winehouse was surrounded by the paparazzi while trying to walk home with her god-daughter. While running, one of her bodyguards clashed with a photographer. A brawl ensued, with a security man reportedly hitting out at photographers, knocking several to the ground. And Winehouse got involved when she allegedly threw a pint glass at a paparazzo, before shouting and swearing randomly at people in the street - with one source claiming she slapped a passerby.

I can't get over that. On the business side of Amy's life, she is hard at work on her new album hoping to have something to impress Bllaaaaakkkkkke with. A source from The Sun reports,

"Now she has some kind of time-scale for Blake’s release it has given her some focus. She wants something to impress him with because he has accused her of just sitting around doing nothing while he has been serving time."

 

DRAMA!

I am actually excited about the fact that Amy Winehouse is focusing her attention on something other than self destruction. Amy was originally set to sing the James Bond opening track for Quantum of Solace. Then a hundred other people were rumored to have snagged the position. In the end, Alicia Keys and Jack White took the prize. WELL, Amy is a bit upset about the whole thing and is threatening to release the song that should have been the opening track on the SAME DAY as the movie release just to show the bosses that they made the wrong decision!

She tells Britain’s New Magazine,

"I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive). I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit. If they change their minds I’m waiting!"

Audio fight to the death... ok maybe not. But it still should be fun to see who will come out with the better tune.
