Amy Winehouse Played A Surprise Show To Aid Terminally Ill Children
How wonderful!! Amy Winehouse played a surprise show in aid of terminally ill children. The ‘Rehab’ singer stunned guests at a fund raising dinner for charity Rays Of Sunshine by appearing unannounced to sing a five-song set.
A guest at the bash at Wrotham Park, near Amy’s London home, said:
“None of us could believe it. You always read negative stories about her and her wild behavior but she couldn’t have been nicer. Her performance really made the evening.”
Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity helps grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the UK.
Amy is not the first celebrity to have made a surprise visit to help ill children.
In November 2007, Johnny Depp spent four hours at London’s Great Ormond Street hospital reading bedtime stories to patients dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow after having his 'Pirates of the Caribbean' costume flown over from Los Angeles.
The Hollywood actor also donated $2 million to the hospital last January after helping to save his daughter’s life following treatment after her kidneys failed.
I always love to hear about celebrities doing such wonderful things.

Amy Winehouse Is Dating Again
Amy Winehouse is reportedly dating Mischa Barton’s ex-boyfriend.
The ‘Rehab’ singer – who was granted the first stage in her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil twelve days ago – is believed to have embarked on a new romance with millionaire’s son James Regan, 26.
Amy, 25, is smitten with the barman and aspiring scriptwriter after he began sending romantic text messages to her while she was staying on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.
A friend of James’ said:
“He has a penchant for famous car crashes – he was dating Mischa before she was sectioned.
“Amy is just getting her life back together so the wild party animal isn’t her ideal partner.”
Not sure why anyone would go looking for someone who is troubled???
The singer is said to have already invited James to her North London home and cooked him a romantic Caribbean meal.
The next day he thanked her by writing on her Facebook page: “Thanks for last night – food was incredible x.”
The good news out of this story is Amy is cooking and functioning. Love hearing that.

Amy Winehouse Not Guilty In Fan Altercation Says Court
Amy Winehouse has been found not guilty of assaulting dancer Sherene Flash.
The ‘Back to Black’ singer – who was accused of punching Sherene, 30, “forcefully” in the eye at a charity ball, in London, last September -blew kisses at fans and photographers as she left the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court today with her father Mitch.
A spokesman for the 25-year-old singer said:
“Amy would like to thank her family, friends and legal team for their support during this difficult time. She’s always maintained her innocence and is very happy to move on with her life and put the episode behind her.”
Yesterday, Amy told the courtroom she had only pushed Sherene away from her at the Berkeley Square Ball because she felt “intimidated” after the burlesque dancer “lunged” at her for a photograph.
Amy’s lawyer Patrick Gibbs insisted the star should not have been made to face trial at all because several witnesses had told police she had not punched Sherene.
He said:
“The main injury here was probably to Miss Flash's pride. Maybe she had been made to look silly in front of friends and colleagues.”
Now the ‘Rehab’ singer can start to focus once again on her music. She's really putting everything negative and toxic behind her. I'm still rooting for you Amy!
Amy Winehouse Goes To Court Over Punching A Female Fan
A female fan attempted to get a picture with Amy Winehouse... and the singer punched her in the face. Remember that? It happened last year in September.
Well, now Amy is back in the UK and is standing trial at the Westminster Magistrates’
Court. The assaulted dancer, Sherene Flash, was also in attendance.
Flash told the court:
"She punched me forcefully in my right eye. I
started to cry and I was shocked."
Lawyers for Winehouse insist the
singer accidentally "caught her in her eye" as she tried to push Flash
away.
Winehouse is pleading not guilty to the charges and is expected to take the stand soon.
You have to love that Amy is wearing her ballet slippers with a suit to court...

Amy Winehouse To Launch Her Own Perfume Line
Hmmmnnn.... really?
The report today is that Amy Winehouse wants to start her own perfume line and... really?
Oh sorry. I just find this story to be insane.
The troubled singer – who has publicly battled addictions to drink and drugs – and her father Mitch are keen to develop her trademark “smoky” look and put her name to a woman’s fragrance.
A source said:
“Mitch is keen to licence Amy’s name to a perfume house. He has been in talks with manufacturers and contacted PR firms for advice. They want it to reflect her style with a classic smoky 1950s look and smell.
Amy is keen to expand her brand and wants to get on the celebrity perfumes bandwagon while she can. They know her fans love to copy her style. Her trademark fashion and beehive hair-do were last year’s must-have look.”
However, fragrance experts are unsure about working with the ‘Rehab’ singer - who is regularly photographed with a cigarette and alcoholic drink in hand - because they fear shoppers will be discouraged by her dishevelled appearance.
YA THINK? One perfume industry insider said:
“Frankly, she doesn’t look like she smells that nice, so doing some positive publicity to prove it doesn’t just smell of stale alcohol and cigarettes would be vital.”
Other pop stars who have launched their own signature scents include Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and Jennifer Lopez.
Would you want to smell the scent that Amy came out with? I would be very, very curious!

Amy Winehouse Admitted Infidelity In Divorce Papers
Blake Fielder-Civil was granted a decree nisi (a preliminary stage of divorce that becomes final in six weeks) on the grounds that wife Amy Winehouse had been unfaithful. Amy admitted to cheating on Blake in divorce papers.
The papers reveal the one-time video production assistant was asked by
his lawyer to "state briefly your reasons for saying that the
respondent has committed the adultery alleged", to which Blake
answered: "The respondent confessed the adultery to me in April 2008."Court papers show that when Amy was asked if she admitted "the adultery alleged in the petition", she replied, "Yes."
In a question-and-answer session detailed in legal documents submitted
to the court, Blake insisted he finds living with Amy "intolerable."
I can't say it's surprising, but I have to admit, it's a little sad that by the ages of 25 (Amy) and 27 (Blake) someone's been married and divorced.
Hopefully they will each be able to take care of themselves now that they're single so they can have healthier relationships.

Amy Winehouse Launching A Greeting Card Line
Well, this is different...
Celebrities typically start out with a perfume line - but not Amy Winehouse. Instead, she is launching a range of greetings cards.
The troubled singer has signed a deal to use images and lyrics from her award-winning 'Back To Black' album on a series of stationery.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper:
"The bosses at EMI are keen to keep the cash cow churning out the money.
"The first item in the Winehouse range will be wrapping paper with the chorus of 'Rehab' emblazoned all over it."The Amy-branded cards are classy too. 'You Know I'm No Good' is best for heartfelt apologies and 'Back To Black', with an appropriate wreath, will be the respectful response to a bereavement."
While the venture has been attacked for being in poor taste, Amy's publishers insist they have had a great response from the public for the idea.
Jonathan Channon, EMI Music Publishing Europe vice president said:"We are looking to create innovative revenue streams from our songs with mainstream retailers and the Amy wrapping paper and gift cards received a very positive response. These are songs which already have a great resonance with the public."
Amy is currently living in St Lucia, where she is working on her much-delayed third album.
