Amy Winehouse Takes Up Smoking Banana Skins
Amy Winehouse has taken up a new vice while living on St. Lucia - smoking banana skins. Have you ever heard of this? It's the first for me.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper:
"Amy wandered onto a private
porch on Cariblue Beach and began speaking to a group of locals who were
smoking banana skins.
"he made sure there wasn't anything really bad in them because she's being
so good now."They made one in front of her using dried strings from the inside of the
peel instead of tobacco, and putting it onto a piece of rolling paper. She
loved it and has taken to drying her own peel in the sun and smoking it in
the evening."
Amy is happier off the drugs and will keep to this natural habit as it fits with her new lifestyle.
"I'm clean now and feel much better for it. I'm
just a normal girl now."
The singer's behavior on the Caribbean island seems to reflect her words.
Looking tanned and relaxed, the 25-year-old star was seen barefoot riding a
horse on the beach after tucking into a pizza.
Amy's record company have reportedly decided to embrace their star's quest
to start a new life in St. Lucia - where she enjoyed a three-month holiday
earlier this year - and are planning to finance a recording studio in her
new home, so she can work on new tracks for the follow up to award-winning
album 'Back To Black'.

Amy Winehouse Buying A Home In St. Lucia
Amy Winehouse spent just over two months in the tropical island of St. Lucia this past Christmas. And it seems to have done her a world of good, as she's looking healthier than ever. So it's no surprise that Amy wants to move there, at least temporarily. The singer is planning on recording an album while on the island and she wants to buy a second home there.
And in other random Amy news, one of her outfits will no be on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. She was at a bar in London when she heard the news.
She decided to share her joy, by buying every customer at the London branch of the eaterie a serving of tequila.
An
onlooker says, "Amy whispered to one of the waitresses and soon the bar
was covered in shot glasses. She invited everyone to help themselves."
Haha, typical Amy celebration style. :)
And did I mention that I am SO looking forward to new music from her. I can't wait until she gets in that studio to make some more magic!!!

Record Label Rejects Amy Winehouse's New Music
Uh oh!
Amy Winehouse is having trouble selling her label the new songs she recently recorded while vacationing in the Caribbean. The 25-year-old singer has been told to return to the
recording studio because label bosses don't like her new reggae sound.
"Amy was very productive during her stay in St. Lucia. She
wrote a lot of songs, but the majority of them just aren't hitting the mark.
"She seems to have ditched her trademark vintage soul sound and is now
heavily influenced by reggae. Her bosses don't think it's a wise move to
change her style so sharply and have told her that."
Her third album is also said to be too dark compared to her previous hits.
"The lyrics are very dark indeed. While she's known
for her conversational style and has been very successful with it, many of
the tracks are near the knuckle."In the past, she's written frequently about broken hearts and boyfriends,
but this time round she's delving into harrowing terrain.""It is crucial Amy's return
is handled properly. If she puts out a record that is in any way half-baked,
that could severely damage her long-term prospects, so everyone's focus at
the minute is getting it right, even if that means telling Amy some things
she probably won't want to hear."
No pressure!! Can't wait to hear Amy's new music though - whatever sound she chooses to achieve.

I knew today was going to be a good day. Just check these shots of a healthier looking Amy Winehouse as she emerged from her new home in Barnet.
The singer picked up a bar of chocolate at a local shop, before visiting the Charing Cross Police Station and finally wrapping her day with a bit of shopping. Has the thought of divorce finally forced Amy to get her act together?

Amy Winehouse Gets In Fight With Passenger While Flying Home To London
Wouldn't she get arrested if this happened? Isn't it a big deal if you get out of line while on an airplane these days? How did nothing happen to Amy Winehouse after she attacked a passenger on her plane ride home to London from St. Lucia?
Yes, that's right. Amy's back.
It all went bad when Amy thought the male was "giving her the eye". Instead of confronting him verbally or looking the other way, she came at him swinging.
“Amy went wild. She thought this guy was giving her strange looks and just lost it.
“She was nervous about coming back and seeing Blake so it didn’t take much to push her over the edge.”
The singer has returned to London to reconnect with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil as he was just freed from jail.

Amy Winehouse Still Loves Blake Fielder-Civil
These two are on such a collision course. Of course, I'm always rooting for love, but we watched them crash and burn together. At this point is divorce the best thing or should they keep trying to make it work?
Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil make give their relationship one more try. Amy is on her way back to the U.K. now that Blake's out of jail.
Hearing Blake was out brought lots of emotions back for Amy. She feels like she was the last to know he was getting released and that
hurt. She is desperate to see him again and wants to work things out. She
still loves him.
Blake isn't sure of the couple's future either.
It’s all going ahead — but I
don’t really know what will happen. It’s just nice to be on the outside
again. Now I am going to get over my drug habit.
And Amy's friends are concerned about them getting back together.
We are nervous about her returning to London and seeing Blake.
She thinks their fights and problems are romantic in a tortured love kind
of way. We think it’s a bit sad — and very dangerous.

Amy Winehouse... Admitted To The Hospital
You almost forgot about her didn't you? I mean, it's been WEEKS since I've posted anything about Amy Winehouse. It isn't so surprising that the first news item that comes out about her is that she is back in the hospital. I keep wishing good things to come her way and she keeps digging a deeper and deeper hole.
The troubled singer has been admitted to hospital after collapsing in the Caribbean.
Amy suddenly fell ill and was rushed to a medical facility on St. Lucia. When asked, her rep said it was because she ran out of prescribed medicine.
Uh huh....
Either way, wishing her a speedy and eye opening recovery.
