My goodness! Fashion Week is wiping me OUT. I actually caught a cold, am completely run down and had to MISS THE MTV MUSIC AWARDS BECAUSE OF IT. I just couldn't do it - and I wish I kept the award show in mind when I did this week's schedule because I'm absolutely regretting the decision right now.
Fashion Week is a lot of waiting, and pushing, and waiting and... waiting. Even if you have a show every hour, you have to check into each event and then wait for the show to start (which is NEVER on time). The crowds are wild and pushy and not everything is next to the main tent which means lots of cab rides and rushing. My word!
Last year I was sponsored by Oral B, so I never waited for anything. There was no line for me. I had a VIP badge and walked around wherever I wanted. This year is VERY VERY DIFFERENT! LOLOLOLOL!
A friend of mine calls it the "Fashion Week Flu" because all the bloggers end up getting it. I just came down with it earlier than expected.
Celebs obviously don't have to deal with this! Celebrities like Anna Wintour, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tim Gunn, Rachel McAdams, Kelly Rowland, Mena Suvari, Tori Spelling, Lizzie Grubman, and Kristen Johnston either get in from a back door or are whisked right through the crowd. Lucky! Lucky! That's how it is when you have pull right?
Celebrities Attend Saks Fifth Avenue Launch
Michelle Monaghan, Alexis Bledel, Charlize Theron, Anna Wintour, Penn Badgley, Blake Lively, Christian Siriano, and the love of my life Rachel Zoe each attended Saks Fifth Avenue's launch party to show off its new designer floor. As if I need another reason to pine over the store! SIGH
Christian Siriano fans - great news! I will be covering his show this week and will be sure to post pictures or video from the show (depending on where I am sitting) on INO STYLE.
If you don't visit the section, you are going to miss out on all Fashion Week coverage. Yesterday, I interviewed designer Rachel Roy while attending a party at her Soho store. Then for all the stuff I do in between - visit my personal blog for a little informal fun. After the interview, I attended a networking event for NYC Fashion bloggers by Style Coalition.

Celebs Attend The Screening Of 'The September Issue' In NYC
All the trendsetters and fashion obsessed celebs were in attendance for the screening of 'The September Issue' at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Anna Wintour, Sienna Miller and Renee Zellweger were among the fashionable females to attend the screening. The film follows Anna Wintour in her quest to make the Vogue September Issue the must-have fashion bible for trendsetters around the world.
The September issue on Vogue is well known has the largest issue (literally!) with the biggest impact on the Fashion World. I'm so excited for the theatrical premiere, what about you?
