'Real Housewives Of New York City' Star Bethenny Frankel Is Pregnant
Things are moving along fast for 'Real Housewives of New York City' star Bethenny Frankel! She became engaged to Jason Hoppy and now she reveals to People that she's pregnant.
"It's premature to be telling people this," she tells PEOPLE while fighting back tears.
"It's not like, 'Did I Get Botox?' It's not the way I wanted it to get out," she says. "I haven't even gone through my first trimester. We haven't even heard the heartbeat. My [fiancé's] parents didn't even know."
She and Hoppy are "both so excited," says Frankel. Still, she adds that because the pregnancy is early, "I am praying everything is okay but I don't know that yet."
I can understand her desire to keep it quiet so early on. Apparently, the news broke online, which is why Bethenny is coming forward now. Regarding getting pregnant before getting married, Bethenny explained it this way:
"I'm no spring chicken. I didn't think it was going to happen right away. Because of my age, sometimes we weren't totally careful."
But she admits, "I got to be honest, we are both feeling kind of proud of ourselves. We are both 38 and we were like, 'Listen, your fish can swim and I am fertile.' So that's exciting."
Okay, admit that at least made you smile, didn't it? Bethenny said she and Jason do plan on getting married before the baby is born. And she's already dealing with cravings.
"I'm hungry in a way that is not negotiable," she says. "I'm not eating tremendous amount but if I am hungry, I will stab someone for food."
She even ate a jar of pickles before she'd taken her pregnancy test. "That's so cliché," she says. "I just want salt. Salt on everything."

Bethenny Frankel Is Not Leaving 'Real Housewives Of New York City'
If you love to watch Bethenny Frankel on 'Real Housewives of New York City,' then time to rejoice: she said she is NOT leaving the show (contrary to last week's report that she was.
"The spinoff news is totally true, but me being replaced after five episodes is totally false," she told Usmagazine.com Monday at the Los Angeles premiere of Couples Retreat. "I haven't started doing the spinoff show. I have started doing Housewives."
So what about the rumor that Sonja Morgan is supposed to replace Bethenny after the first five episodes?
"If you do the math, they replaced someone on Atlanta, and on Orange County, they only have two of the originals. But I don't know anything that you don’t know. I would imagine that you don't have to be Angela Lansbury to figure out that eventually they may replace one of us."
Hmmm. I don't know what to make of that one.

Is Bethenny Frankel Leaving 'Real Housewives Of New York City'?
Ever since we heard that Bethenny Frankel had gotten her own show, rumors have been floating around that she would have to leave 'Real Housewives of New York City.' It seems entirely possible to do both, since I doubt either one films for more than a couple of months at a stretch. Life & Style has the scoop. Bethenny Frankel Blogging About The Real Houswives of Atlanta
Bethenny Frankel of the Real Housewives of New York has been blogging after each episode of the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and she's quite a riot!
She said this about Kim:
I also love Kim's pink, flowy Harlequin Romance dress. She should be running toward Fabio in a field in an "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" commercial. During this "I don't wanna sing" scene, I'm thinking: This is a moron. That said, she wasn't horrendous and terrible in the studio. The words did come out. My personal favorite moment was her tossing yet another cigarette butt onto the producer's lawn. I thought tossing one on her own lawn was vile enough.
Regarding the photo shoot of their "alter egos":
I thought the photography in the alter ego photos was great; however, I would like just one alter ego. Instead, it was alternating alter egos. Nene's best was her stripper; Lisa, her gangster; Kim, because she actually is a mistress, should have gone with the Stepford wife.
I actually loved Sheree and Kandi's pics the best and would leave them as is. I particularly like Kandi holding her bottle of Thunderbird in the brown bottle while driving in the car.
I bet that made for one interesting group of pictures! LOL She's a stitch! Anyone watching the new season?

'Real Housewife' Bethenny Frankel Isn't A Fan of Gwyneth Paltrow
If you disliked Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP video of the actress deboning a chicken, then you weren't alone. 'Real Housewives of New York City' cast member Bethenny Frankel didn't hold back on her feelings about it.
"I’d rather staple my eyelids shut than watch Gwyneth cook," the reality star and 'Naturally Thin' author reportedly told the New York Daily News' Gatecrasher at the launch of her bottled Skinnygirl Margaritas at the Montauk Yacht Club in New York on Saturday."
Ouch!
"Gwyneth is afraid to [reveal] who she really
is - she’s so manhandled by publicists and managers," she continued. "Her show would be way too boring to watch."
Do you agree with Bethenny on this?
And why with the public venom for Gwyneth? Maybe because Bethenny has been approached about doing her own cooking show. I don't know if the best way to build your own project is tear down someone else's, but the biggest thing Bethenny probably did was get people who haven't yet watched the video to go to GOOP and check it out.

Bethenny Frankel Lands Her Own Reality Show
Bethenny Frankel has a lot going on these days. Aside from 'The Real Housewives of New York,' she also has a best selling book...and an upcoming marriage. Rumors has it that she's breaking out from Housewives and will be starring in her own reality show.
The spunky star's new show on Bravo this fall will be called "Skinny
& The City." Our tipster said, "The show will follow her planning
her wedding to [fiancé] Jason Hoppy." Life &
Style also reports Frankel is penning a second book about "romance,
money and friends" inspired by her feud with co-star Kelly Killoren Bensimon. Bravo had "no comment."
Let's just hope this isn't the kiss of death on her marriage. I don't really know why so many celebs continue signing up for reality shows when everyone has seen what they do to relationships! But, I guess for Bethenny the chance to promote her brand is worth it.

Bethenny Frankel Hears Wedding Bells In Her Future
'Real Housewives of New York City' castmember Bethenny Frankel plans to marry boyfriend Jason Hoppy. Bethenny's rep confirmed the plans to Us Weekly after Bethenny was spotted wearing a ring.
"I can confirm Bethenny and Jason are in love and plan on getting married," her rep tells Us. "So I guess this is the starter ring."
Apparently, the ring Bethenny was wearing is not the ring, but it is on the way. This means she is not formally engaged, but "a proposal is on the way."
"He's hunting for the ring, but in the meantime this is a place holder or promise ring," the source tells Us.
Bethenny, who has been dating Jason for eight months, says she's "in love" and is "going to spend the rest of my life with him... I'm really happy."
