Amy Winehouse Admitted Infidelity In Divorce Papers

Blake Fielder-Civil was granted a decree nisi (a preliminary stage of divorce that becomes final in six weeks) on the grounds that wife Amy Winehouse had been unfaithful. Amy admitted to cheating on Blake in divorce papers.
The papers reveal the one-time video production assistant was asked by
his lawyer to "state briefly your reasons for saying that the
respondent has committed the adultery alleged", to which Blake
answered: "The respondent confessed the adultery to me in April 2008."Court papers show that when Amy was asked if she admitted "the adultery alleged in the petition", she replied, "Yes."
In a question-and-answer session detailed in legal documents submitted
to the court, Blake insisted he finds living with Amy "intolerable."
I can't say it's surprising, but I have to admit, it's a little sad that by the ages of 25 (Amy) and 27 (Blake) someone's been married and divorced.
Hopefully they will each be able to take care of themselves now that they're single so they can have healthier relationships.

Blake Fielder-Civil Tries To Use Amy Winehouse To Get Out Of Jail
Blake Fielder-Civil was just sentenced for 27 months in prison after a violent incident last year. After he was charged he then tried to fix the trial.
Fielder-Civil and friend Michael Brown beat James King, 36, so badly in
June 2006 that he needed plates fitted into his face for a broken
cheekbone and still has counselling.
But, get this. Blake tried to use Amy Winehouse's fame to get him out of jail. His lawyer told the court,
Knowing the nation's glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every
possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown
he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment
with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.He
can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a
smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss
Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate
herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.
So what is the justice system like in England? Does anyone know if this means Blake will for sure serve the 27th months or can he get out early for good behavior or "overcrowding" like in the U.S.?
