The Annual Pre-Grammy Gala
The Recording Academy presented the Annual Pre-Grammy party and a slew of our favorite artists graced the red carpet. This is such an exciting time for the music industry. More times than not we focus on the film industry - so now it's their turn to shine. ;)
So, who showed up?
Djimon Hounsou and a pregnant Kimora Lee, Clive Davis, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jamie Foxx, Fantasia, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Carrie Underwood.
Have you noticed that ever since Katy split from her boyfriend Travis McCoy, she is no longer bubbly on the red carpet. She rarely smiles anymore. I think she is still hurting from the break up.
Kate Hudson & Carrie Underwood At The People's Choice Awards
Both Kate Hudson and Carrie Underwood shined while receiving awards from the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night.
Kate chose another fantastic dress in a bright blue hue with a sexy thigh slit, while Carrie was vibrant as well in tangerine. I'm curious who you think looked best, or which dress stood out to you the most?

Carrie Underwood Has A New Boyfriend
American Idol winner and country music superstar Carrie Underwood reportedly has a new guy in her life: NHL player Mike Fisher! Carrie was spotted in a VIP booth with some of Mike's relatives at one of his games last Saturday evening.
Although Mike, a center for the Ottawa Senators, declined to say anything when asked for a comment, his fitness trainer, Tony Greco, was more forthcoming.
'I think it’s serious, I mean he’s really happy with her. They’re a perfect match,' said Mr. Greco.
The pair reportedly met last spring after Mike attended one of Carrie's concerts in Canada last March. They began dating soon afterwards.
This couple has certainly stayed under the radar!

Carrie Underwood In Elle Magazine
Carrie Underwood isn't one of those celebrities who complains about the lifestyle they've made for themselves. In a recent interview with Elle Magazine she says she's making the best of the situation she's in. I love celebs who are grateful for what they have.
-On dealing with celebrity: "I
knew what I was signing up for, and I'm not complaining at all.
I've learned how to deal with it, and my life is great, I'm a happy
person. What are you going to do? Give it all up? No!"-On the drama surrounding celebrities:
"All celebrities have to be involved in drama – or they're not
celebrities! There must be something wrong with 'em!"-On her comment that a taken Tony
Romo still calls her: "It was just something that was
said in passing, and I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or to
stir up anything, because I'm just not about drama. At all. I might be
mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some other girl. So I can
definitely see where she would be coming from. But I haven't talked to
him since, like, May."-On why she tries to keep her love life out of the public
eye: "If I say I am or I'm not, as soon as this magazine
comes out, it might be the opposite of what I tell you now. In three months,
it'll be 'Carrie said she's not dating anybody,' yet
last night, I was out on the town with some guy. He's going to get mad at
me. Everybody's going to think I'm a liar. It's just best not
to go there."

Carrie Underwood Didn't Mean To Upset Jessica Simpson With Romo Comment
Carrie Underwood sits down and talks to Elle Magazine about the Jessica Simpson/Carrie Underwood fued and her comments about Tony Romo still calling her.
"It was something that was said in passing, and I would never mean to
say anything to hurt anybody or stir up anything, because I'm just not
about drama...at all,"
I didn't believe for one minute she said it with a mean spirit. It's just that since the celebrity life is so public, it was bound to get back to Jes and blown up by the media.
Carrie even stated that she understood why Jessica would be upset.
"I might be mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some
other girl," she said. "So I can definitely see where she would be
coming from."
The singer claims she hasn't spoken to Romo, "since, like, May."
And what about Carrie dating Michael Phelps? It's just not true.
"I swear on everything, on my job, on my house, my dog. That’s how serious I am. It’s all just a lie."

Carrie Underwood And Jessica Simpson Feud Continues
These girls are laughing themselves straight to the bank. The more rags continue with this fake story, the more free press their music gets, the more face time they get with the public... etc. And the world goes round.
A SOURCE is claiming that Carrie Underwood said Jessica Simpson has been looking "fatter" these days and the roller coaster ride begins.
The women were actually asked to respond to these allegations by Life and Style Magazine.
Jessica said she is happy with what the Lord has given her.
“I love and appreciate everything the good Lord has given me!”
And Carrie is just happy that people are talking about her music.
“I think anything that brings more recognition to the country music scene is great. I’m all for it.”
However, that darn SOURCE is talking too - claiming that Carrie would never want to be as buxom as Jess.
“She agrees that Jess is attractive,” says the friend, “but says she wouldn’t want to be as ‘buxom and top-heavy.’”
