Robert Pattinson Addresses Romance Rumors (Again)

It sounds like Robert Pattinson tried to end all speculation about his relationship with 'Twilight' co-star Kristen Stewart, but then 'Twilight' director Catherine Hardwicke just had to chime in
"[We're] good friends," Robert told [Vanity Fair], though he had plenty of warm feelings for his co-star. "I think she's the best young actress around. She's influenced how I've done all the 'Twilight' stuff. It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything."
Somehow (I guess you have to read the entire Vanity Fair article to figure it out) Robert managed to equate not being "much of a crowd person" with not being the kind of guy to go on "secret dates with Kristen."
"It's like, 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'" he said.
Yet Vanity Fair also spoke to 'Twilight' director Catherine, who had this to say about Kristen and Robert's relationship:
"What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination."
I suspect that will only add fuel to the fire for fans who want Robert and Kristen to get together in real life, just like their characters! LOL
Does it matter to you what they do in real life or are you only concerned with the movies?

Catherine Hardwicke Will Direct The Girl With The Red Riding Hood

'Twilight' director Catherine Hardwicke has landed her next gig. She will be directing a werewolf movie that has a teenage love triangle as its focus.
No, it's not 'Breaking Dawn'... it's 'The Girl With the Red Riding Hood'.
Werewolf movie, written by David Johnson, is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, with a teenage love triangle at its center.
Talk about taking chances! :) Some people like to stay in their comfort zones - and perhaps Catherine doesn't want to sway too far off the path that brought her fame and fortune.
Twilight Director Catherine Hardwicke Thanks Fans

To all of you who bought Twilight: Director's Notebook, Catherine Hardwicke wants to say: thank you. Catherine's book will be named the #1 book on the New York Times bestseller list this Sunday. She made a video, expressing her appreciation, and also wrote this note, which Entertainment Weekly obtained:
Dear Twilight fans,
I wanted to send out a note of thanks to all of you. I recently found out that my book, Twilight: Director's Notebook, will debut
at #1 on this Sunday's New York Times bestseller list. I am stunned. Throughout this entire process, from pre-production on the film, to the
premieres, to my book events, I have always been overwhelmed by the support
the Twilight fans have had for me, the movie and now my book. I wanted
to give the fans, as well as aspiring filmmakers, a closer look at how
we made the movie and I hope you enjoyed entering my world of making
films as much as I have had in being part of the Twilight
world.Catherine"
Have any of you bought the book? If so, what did you think of it?

Twilight Filmmakers & Cast To Make Surprise Appearances At DVD Release Parties

Now, it's all part of major movies: first you have the book, then you get the movie, and finally you have the DVD release! Twilight is going all the way with midnight release parties this Friday. Entertainment Tonight announced that Twilight filmmakers and cast will make surprise appearances at "select" release parties around the United States.
Does that make you more interested in attending? If so, you can go the the Twilight website to find out about the closest party to you and even get suggestions for a DVD party ;)
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke told Life & Style that she was so determined to find leads with "sparks" that she held auditions in her bedroom and kiss!
I said, 'Yes, we really want you to kiss. I want to see if this
works,' she reveals. 'Because at the end of the day, if it just
doesn't work, then it's not going to work for the whole movie. So I
made them go ahead and kiss, and the sparks did fly!' "
I understand what she's saying, but it somehow it seems like going... a trifle... too far. Then again, I guess that's what actors sign up for, isn't it?
