Did you catch MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night? Beyonce was the most-nominated artist at the VMAs this year, so she was front and center. She rocked the show with a medley of her songs while Jay Z and little Blue Ivy looked on from the audience. This year Beyonce was awarded The Video Vanguard Award, which Jay Z presented to her while holding Blue. It was the BEST moment of the night! I think it put all the rumors of marital problems to rest, once and for all :). Take a look after the break at the winners list from last night’s show as well as pics from the press room with Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Fifth Harmony showing off their statuettes. BFFs Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift surely had an exciting evening at the Teen Choice Awards last night! Both of them had surfboards by the end of the evening. ‘The Fault of Our Stars’ actors Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort and Nat Wolff also had a big night. Have you had a chance to see that movie? You SHOULD. Take your kleenex and enjoy a heartfelt movie that, despite it’s topic, managed to avoid melodrama. Shailene and Ansel’s movie ‘Divergent’ also got some recognition. The Television Critics Awards (TCA) don’t get as much attention as other awards shows because they aren’t televised. However, they can be a good sign of things to come at the Primetime Emmys, which are next month, so the 2014 TCA winners are still interesting to see. ‘Breaking Bad’ won big, as did Matthew McConaughey’s HBO show, ‘True Detective.’ Apparently the TCAs lets winners know ahead of time to help ensure they’ll come, which led to an awkward acceptance speech for Matthew, who seemed not to know this, according to Deadline Hollywood. Okay, I know most people watch the ESPY Awards to see the athletes get honored. I agree with that and think it’s great. The red carpet is still fun to watch, though! Jessica Alba and Chrissy Teigen both attended the ESPYs this year. Of course they looked gorgeous. Now we’ve got the deets on their looks, so you can try them out yourself for a night out on the town. RELATED: Chrissy Teigen has a date night with John Legend.

The Emmys got it RIGHT this year! The 2014 Primetime Emmy Nominees were announced this morning, and to say the categories are competitive is an understatement. Matthew McConaughey is returning to the awards show circuit for his work in HBO’s ‘True Detective. Will he add to his collection? Bryan Cranston earned another nomination for ‘Breaking Bad'; this will be his final nomination for his acting as Walter White since the show ended last year. ‘Scandal’ star Kerry Washington scored another nomination.
