LOVE HIM!
Here is Christian Bale for GQ Magazine.

I had to throw in the Batman poster on a post talking about Christian Bale. I have little clocks all around my house counting down the seconds until that movie opens. That way, I'm never too far from knowing how much longer I have to wait. :)
For those of you who can't get enough Bale, here are a few outtakes from a recent shoot with Parade Magazine.

Some are calling for Heath Ledger's performance in Batman to get altered. It's too bloody, violent, dark... but that's exactly how Heath wanted it says co-star Christian Bale. And to alter it in any way would be a disservice to Heath, his work and everything he stood for.
"I know there are a lot of people out there who don’t think this movie should be shown. But, if you’re asking my opinion, I think that’s bloody insane. I also think it’s an insult to Heath and everything he stood for.
"I don’t think anything should be cut - I think it’s the movie he wanted to make. The guy was brilliant. He was a fantastic actor and he put everything into this part. I absolutely know without question that he would have wanted everyone to see it.
"For me, this is a celebration of what he did best - entertain people… Respect the man. This is what he did. This is what he wanted to do."
What do you think? Leave it as is? Or tame it down?

Y-U-M! Detail's Magazine chose Christian Bale for their upcoming cover and thank goodness they did! I can look at this mug all day long. With the upcoming release of The Dark Knight, Christian was asked about being Batman, working alongside Heath Ledger, and his obsession with darker roles.

What did you think when you first saw yourself in the Batsuit?
I was standing on the back lot where they were creating the suit, and I had a few minutes to myself, staring up close in the mirror, just thinking, "This isn't going to work. I'm claustrophobic, I can't breathe, I'm getting a headache already, and this is all going to go very badly."
What persuaded you otherwise?
I just said to myself, "Breathe deeply for a few minutes. Try this out. Don't run around yelling and making an a$$ of yourself trying to pull the whole thing off." I wasn't going to get it off by myself. It takes three people. I just had flashes of what an **** I would feel like saying "Well, I wasn't able to play that character, because I panicked every time I got in the suit."
You've played a wide variety of characters, but very few of them have been happy-go-lucky. Are you attracted to darkness?
