She's at that age...short dresses and t-strap high heels will probably be the norm for Dakota Fanning from here on out. Don't get me wrong, I think she looks great, but I'll always see her as that adorable little girl from I Am Sam.
In other news, the Secret Life of Bees premiere was star studded. Read below for a list of celebs you'll find in the thumbnails:

Awww, how cute is this?!? Dakota Fanning really is that sweet little all American girl...she just became a cheerleader at her high school! After being homeschooled for most of her life she recently started attending a private school and decided that she wanted to get involved.
"I am a cheerleader. Now everybody always wants me to do cheers. It's so funny."
She's really getting a sense of community at her new school.
"Cheerleading is so much fun, especially at your school because you get such a sense of school spirit and you're proud of your school. I love that. I'm the one that's on top of the (human) pyramid; I'm the flyer, so that's fun too."

Oh my god... Dakota Fanning is SO BIG! Here she is at the premiere of her new movie, "Hounddog" at the Village East Cinemas in NYC last night looking all grown up and beautiful in a silver shirt, black pants, and a killer pair of heels. :) Can you believe she's already 14?! The good news is things seem to be going well for her and she's managed to look and act her age. Here's to keeping it that way!

SHE may get raped in her next movie - currently titled "The Untitled Dakota Fanning project" - but Dakota Fanning, 12, thinks it's "wonderful." In an interview with thereeler.com, Fanning said of her movie, which will debut at Sundance, "I don't think that anybody should be talking about it yet because nobody's seen it yet, you know? . . . It's a wonderful film, and I'm really proud to be in it. I can't wait for people to see it." (source)
"I would love to direct someday," Fanning told Time magazine for editions on newsstands Monday. "I've learned a lot from watching directors I've worked with, like Steven Spielberg and Gary Winick, whom I worked with on Charlotte's Web. I would love to have that relationship with another actor."
