Why would she say this? Is this embarrassing for a man? Does Daniel Craig mind that Gemma Arterton told the press he wore lifts while shooting for James Bond? I would think that is something he didn't want to publicize. Height and hair are big issues for men... or so I'm told.

Daniel is 5ft 10in but when you put me in heels, I was taller than him and it didn’t look good on screen. The whole point of Bond is that he is masculine and hunky.

"And he has to be taller than his girlfriend. Daniel had to wear special shoes with a lift in them and stacked heels for a few scenes. He took it very well. He thought it was funny. I teased him about it. He took it on good humour."

As if this matters, I saw the trailer for the new bond yesterday while at the theatre and can't wait for it to open.

Daniel Craig, Hugh Grant and Robbie Coltrane collectively raised $38,000 at a recent auction. What did they give away? A lip locking smooch!! The winner of the kisses was none other than James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.

Proceeds went to The National Film and Television School in London. All in good fun and for a great cause to boot. 

Daniel Craig arrived at the wrap party for the new Bond film 'Quantum of Solice' on London's Southbank.

What is UP with the accidents that occur on the set of James Bond? Car crashes, severe cuts and bruises - these people need to bring it down a notch. When will enough be enough?

Daniel Craig is the latest victim on 007 (Quantum of Solace) having just lost the top of his finger! He was rushed to the hospital where he was treated and released.

"There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to go to hospital for emergency treatment. Some people are beginning to believe the production is jinxed."

The accident comes just one week after Craig’s face was sliced open while filming a scene - requiring eight stitches.

Who to talk about? Where to begin? Both Hugh Grant and Daniel Craig looked especially yummy during The Golden Compass premiere at Odeon Leicester Square in London. But it wasn't all about the men. Daniel Craig sported a rugged beard on the Cannes red carpet while promoting His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass. Nicole Kidman and Eva Green co-star with Daniel in this film. It sounds interesting enough. But what's up with the beard? Do you like your men clean shaved like I do?

The more I read up on Casino Royal, the more I've decided I am not going to see the movie. The latest news from the set is Daniel Craig's wheels for the beginning of the movie will be a Ford Mondeo (due to hit the market next year) instead of an Aston Martin. Even though he is featured above with the Aston, James Bond's personal wheels will be the Mondeo. Don't you envision James Bond having a sexier/ more exclusive car? The car just premiered this month in Paris. For the making of the movie, Ford had to throw together a mock prototype because the final version wasn't ready.

The Ford Motor Company will unveil its all-new Ford Mondeo in the upcoming James Bond movie Casino Royale, as part of a product placement deal with Sony/MGM. (source)
