David Beckham To Spend Thanksgiving With The Army
David Beckham is to spend four days with the Army over Thanksgiving.
The soccer star and his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates are to undertake a morale-boosting visit to Kaiserslautern, South West Germany, to stay in US barracks from next Monday to show support for soldiers in Afghanistan.
During the visit, the sportsmen will visit troops and their families in their homes at the base, as well as meeting injured soldiers at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.
On November 26 – Thanksgiving Day – David and his teammates will play a friendly soccer match against Kaiserslautern FC, with around 25,000 tickets being made available to servicemen, Defence Department staff and their families.
How wonderful!! I am sure the troops who can't be with their families on the holiday will appreciate the visit.

Victoria Beckham Buys David A Few Pigs For Christmas
David Beckham’s wife has bought him some pigs. Singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham paid $2,400 for two miniature pot-bellied Gloucester Old Spot cross-breed animals for the soccer star as an early Christmas present
“What can you possibly buy the multi-millionaire, superstar footballer who has absolutely everything? In the case of David Beckham, the answer is, obviously, a pair of cuddly designer piglets. Victoria fell in love with them and realized she’d found the perfect present.”
The former Spice Girls star was said to love the pigs – which David wants to name Pinky and Perky after characters in a children’s TV show – because they are easy to house-train. The source added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:
“"Micro pigs are incredibly clean and easy to train. They will be given the run of the place and could even end up watching TV on David and Victoria's laps."
Pigs are getting more and more popular. A few months ago I met up with some friends in Brooklyn for brunch on Sunday and there was a couple in the park with two HUGE pigs. Everyone was gathering around them and taking pictures. My children were completely amazed. They do say pigs are cleaner than other animals...

I Need A Moment
The original title of this post was "I Would Leave My Husband For This Man"... but I thought that might cause an argument tonight with Bill so I changed it.
There aren't many celebs that do it for me the way David Beckham does. I mean, everyone has their own version of perfection - and this one is mine. I la la LOVE HIM.
The soccer player took his shirt off while helping the LA Galaxy win the last game of the season and I will take this as an early birthday present. Thank you David. Thank you.
He was also seen signing autographs for fans after the game.
Over the weekend, my future ex-husband attended the U2 concert in LA. So handsome!!!

David Beckham Hops On A Flight With His Mother-In-Law
David Beckham was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London with his mother in-law after a long flight from Los Angeles. Not to disappoint his fans, David was nice enough to stop and sign a few autographs before getting in his car and heading home to the family.

Fact Or Fiction: David Beckham Working On Making His Voice Deeper
David Beckham is having elocution lessons to make his voice deeper. The British soccer star has decided to join his wife Victoria and have intensive voice coaching to improve his accent and deepen his high-pitched tones because he thinks it will help him get more work when his sports career is over.
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper:
“David is quite keen to move into TV work when he finally retires, probably after the next World Cup. He’s got the looks and the knowledge, but knows his voice needs work.
“Victoria knows being British can be an asset in the States, but only if the American public can understand what you’re talking about.”
