David Letterman Says It's Chilly At Home

Initially, it looked like David Letterman was going to be able to make his confession about having sexual relationships with staffers, have a laugh, and move on, but that doesn't seem so likely.
"I got in the car this morning and the navigation lady wasn't speaking to me," he deadpanned on his show Monday.
Talking about the cool fall weather, he said, "It's chilly outside my house; chilly inside my house."
I guess I can see that. Although he married his wife only last March, they've reportedly been together since 1986. So what's David's plan now?
"This is only phase one of the scandal," he began. "Phase two: Next week I go on Oprah and sob."
Even his guests got in on it.
Steve Martin told the embattled late night host that the incident "proves that you're a human being. And we weren't really that sure before."
Letterman played along. When guest Martin Short sat on Martin's lap, he joked, "You spend one more minute on his lap, you're gonna get blackmailed."
Meanwhile, it's coming out that the alleged extortionist's girlfriend had an affair with David while dating the CBS producer. Some people are calling for David's resignation. What do you think: should David quit his job?

More Information About David Letterman's Affairs With Staffers Comes Out

Well, this isn't entirely unexpected. Once David Letterman admitted to having sexual relationships with female staffers on his show, information about these women was bound to come out.
Holly Hester — a former NYU student who interned on the show — dated the funnyman for a year.
"I was madly in love with him at the time," Hester reportedly [said]. "I would have married him. He was hilarious."
And a source told People that Letterman had carried on another sexual relationship with an unnamed staffer during the late '90s.
"I'm not surprised this came out," the source, reportedly a former staffer as well, told the mag. "Even the interns knew stuff like that was going on."
The woman in question was a peer — "not an intern," according to the mag.
Another source said long days on the set of "The Late Show" led to a sexually charged environment.
"In politics it's the same thing," the source said. "People who live it, eat it, breathe it … [It's] not some sort of predatory, 'Let's hire beautiful women so we can feast on them' kind of thing. That’s just not the way it works.
"He never acted inappropriate with any of the female staff," the source said. "He was very kind, and I never recall anyone saying anything at all bad about him."

Madonna On David Letterman Tonight

Madonna is going to be on theLate Show With David Letterman tonight. Here she is arriving to the Ed Sullivan Theater. I LOVE when Madonna comes on his show. Since the two have a history together after her infamous 1994 appearance, she always finds these little ways to bring out this side of him that we don't normally see. It's pretty cute.
Anyone plan on watching tonight? What do you think of her outfit?
Check out the thumbnails below for shots of the two of them greeting fans.

Anyone Up For A Game Of Tennis?

David Letterman had a handful of fun guests yesterday afternoon while taping for his late night show - Andy Roddick and Rachael Ray. Looks like Andy's love for tennis rubbed off as the two TV personalities took to the court (you know - the street) and showed off their love for the game.
What fun!
Rachael switched out of her red gown and into tennis gear and tried her hardest to keep up with the pro. Here she is being the ball girl for the men's match.
I wonder if Andy let David win?

David Letterman Makes It Legal

After more than ten years of dating and the birth of a son (Harry) in 2003, David Letterman and his girlfriend, Regina Lasko, made their relationship legal by getting married in a courthouse ceremony.
This is David's second marriage; he was previously married to his college sweetheart for seven years.
I'm always curious about when things like this happen; after being together for so long, even having a child together, what prompts a couple to rush to a courhouse and have a quickie wedding? I guess when the time is right, it's right!
Well, regardless, congratulations to the couple!
(Sorry I don't have any pictures of Regina: this family flies WAY under the radar! These were the only six pics I could find of the family period!)
Update: David reportedly made this announcement when taping the Late Show (it's too funny!):

Liv Tyler at The Late Show With David Letterman

Well, hellllooooooooo Liv!
Liv Tyler was all glamed up as she left The Late Show With David Letterman where she was promoting her new movie, The Strangers. Normally we see a pretty laid back and casual Liv so it's nice to see her go all out. I'm actually surprised at this look and I am wondering if this style will represent the new single Liv. People usually either find or reinvent themselves after a divorce /split.
