Let's Talk 2009 American Music Awards
Michael Jackson was honored with four American Music Awards (AMAs) last night.
The late ‘Thriller’ singer’s brother Jermaine Jackson paid tribute to the star when accepting the prizes for Favorite Soul/ R’n’B Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Vocalist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Favorite Soul/R’n’B Album for his ‘Number Ones’ greatest hits compilation, praising his life philosophy.
Janet Jackson had opened the show with a medley of her greatest hits, while Lady Gaga’s performance also proved a talking point.
The ‘Poker Face’ singer, wearing a spectacular headdress and vest filled with lights, performed songs from her new album, ‘The Fame Monster’, and used her microphone to break into a glass case containing a grand piano. As she started to play, the instrument caught fire. Typical Gaga right?
Other performers included Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, and Jennifer Lopez, who fell over mid-way through her tricky dance routine of 'Louboutins':

What a rock star! Here's Demi Lovato in her new 'Got Milk' ad. I always love to see who signs up to help support the cause.
The "Body by Milk" ad reads: "On stage I get my energy from my fans. Off stage I dive into a glass of lowfat milk. The protein and other nutrients keep me rocking. Here we go again!"

Demi Lovato And Jimmy Fallon Sing Barney Theme To Heavy Metal
Lol! She's a good sport... and I never realized how raspy Demi Lovato's voice really is. If you are a fan of Demi or YouTube, you might have come across one of the million videos she's made with friends like Selena Gomez.
Well, last night Jimmy Fallon wanted to make one of his own. The Disney star was game and the pair ending up singing a heavy metal version of the Barney's theme song. LOL! Only Jimmy.

Demi Lovato And Trace Cyrus Split
Well, it sounds like Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are no longer likely to become sisters-in-law: Demi and Trace Cyrus (Miley's brother) have called it quits.
"Demi is one of my good friends and I definitely became very, very
close with her in the past few months, and it's something I really
wanted to make work. But unfortunately, we both have very busy
schedules – we're both on tour right now," says the Metro Station
singe... "I'm always on the other side of the world and so is she, so it just seemed like something that can't work out at this time."
However, it was an amicable split.
"We gave it a shot and that's all you can do," says Cyrus. "Every time
I hung out with that girl or talked on the phone with her, it was
amazing. She's someone I can totally relate to."
Yet Trace admits that age was also a factor in the split.
"But
she is a lot younger than me," Cyrus, 20, adds of Lovato, 16. "When
someone is that much younger, you're looking for different things in
relationships. Maybe when she's older and we've both matured, we'll be
looking for the same thing and it can work out."

Demi Lovato Wants To End School Verbal Harassment
Demi Lovato took to her Twitter account to show her disgust for verbal harassment in schools. The Disney star called on educators to take action against bullies in the classroom in an attempt to curb teen suicide.
Demi admitted that she eventually had to be home schooled because she couldn't take the abuse from her classmates. But the event that really forced her hand was the heartbreaking story of an 11 year old victim who took his own life after not being able to handle the negativity.
"THIS is what verbal harassment can cause. Something HAS to be done. It honestly amazes me how schools refuse to take action in verbal abuse… they SAY they do, but this (is) what ends up happening. So, so sad.
"I can’t explain what I went through when I left public school to start homeschooling. One day I will. But right now… Just know what you say to someone can effect (sic) them for the rest of their life."
So very sad.
