Denise Richards enjoyed a sunny day in Malibu shopping with her dad yesterday and looked quite summery in a bright yellow dress. If I’m not mistaken Denise doesn’t appear to be wearing any make-up and I have to admit I think she looks quite nice. What do you all think of her dress?

Denise Richards spent time with her father Irv and kids Sam and Lola in Malibu. Grandpa Irv participated in the playground  fun and took  Sam to the pet store afterwards. Meanwhile Heidi Klum enjoyed a ride on a train with her children while with her mom at the Grove. Henry, Johan and Leni looked like they had a blast.

Denise Richards sat down this month and talked with Shape Magazine.  She wanted to set the record straight about a few things.

On the reality show with her daughters:

“I’ve been criticized for putting my daughters on the show. But my daughters are my life. How could I do a show about my life without them? I want the show to be real. There’s been so much stuff written about me. I want people to make their own judgments and their own decisions.”

On being a husband stealer

“I can’t tell you how hurtful it was to read this in the press. I would never steal another woman’s husband. Period. And I will say this: If Heather and I really were friends, I would never have gotten together with Richie. She was not my best friend. And we were not friends when I started dating him.”

On her divorce from Charlie Sheen:

“I filed court papers that then became public. I called Charlie and asked him, ‘Why do you have to air our dirty laundry? Why did you have to bash me? Why can’t you just say it’s a private matter?’ In the end, it’s the girls who suffer. I just want them to have a good relationship with their dad.”

I know Denise has come under a lot of heat in the public lately….especially for the whole reality thing.  Does hearing about it from her perspective change anything for you, or do you still think it’s a horrible idea?

Here’s Denise Richards doing a little shopping holding a “Choose Juicy” bag which to me looks a lot like product placement. I’m always suspect when it comes to celebrities and the placement of her bag in each photo makes me wonder. What do you all think?

Denise Richards looked like she had money to burn during this most recent shopping trip with a pal. I HAVE to wonder if she bought all of this stuff for her new reality show. I see a camera man following her, but is that just regular paparazzi? And those shops aren’t cheap. If I had that many bags, it would be Target, Old Navy and maybe Esprit. But Lisa Kline and Ron Herman? Can anyone else make out what type the rest are?

Also in Malibu yesterday was Kate Beckinsale with her family. They made a stop to look at some bunnies. So cute!! I’m loving Kate’s outfit. Right up my alley. The other day someone left a comment on the Dove post and said that I dress very boring. And I DO — I know that. Solids and jeans… that’s about it for me. So this outfit is whispering in my ear…. “buy me“.

Denise Richards is getting a lot of heat for having her two young girls as part of her reality show despite their father’s efforts to prevent it from happening. When asked, Denise said that her three and two year olds gave their mom their blessing.

“I am a single mom and I am very hands-on with my kids so I can’t do a show without the kids at all. I asked them if they wanted to be on TV and Sam said, ‘Yes!’. My girls have been around it so much. They love the make-up. They love the hair. They love all of that.
“I understand why people are judgmental right away saying, ‘How could she have her kids on the show?’ But as long as they’re protected, I feel that they’ll be OK.”

You know what? She’s right. The girls always look like they enjoy the cameras on them. They are going to have a BLAST being followed all day long.

My guess is this is her way of plugging her new reality show. Why else would she be talking about something so old? One thing learned though - Denise Richards and Heather Locklear were no longer friends when Denise started to date Richie. Not sure if that makes it any better considering at one point they WERE friends. Then again, I don’t think I care either way.
