Diane Keaton Starring In New HBO Comedy
Diane Keaton is trying her hand at television with a half-hour HBO comedy written by Marti Noxon (whose previous credits include 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' and 'Private Practice'). Diane's character is a feminist icon who attempts to reinvigorate the feminist movement by starting up a sexually explicit magazine.
Noxon had carried the germ of the idea for a show that touches upon
feminism as long as she can remember.She was 12 when her mother came out as a radical feminist and a
lesbian and recalls juggling her mom's beliefs -- which included
dismissing leg shaving as "giving into patriarchalism" -- with her
own interests."I wanted to be a gal, I was very interested in men, and I wanted
to shave my legs," Noxon said."We've came a long way since the Kinsey report; women are more
sexual now," said Noxon, referring to Alfred Kinsey's controversial
1953 report "Sexual Behavior in the Human Female."Added [Executive Producer] Parouse: "There seems to be a new evolution of what women are
sexually. Women are acting more like men sexually."
This sounds like it has the potential to be hilarious, depending on how it's done (and with Diane's involvement, I feel optimistic).

Diane Keaton Injured On Set
Diane Keaton reportedly was injured and had to be taken to the hospital after injuring her head on the set of her new movie 'Morning Glory.'
A statement said: "Diane Keaton is in good health and spirits following a fall on set of 'Morning Glory' where she bumped her head. The actress was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests and has been cleared by doctors
to return to work."
Luckily it sounds like Diane's injury was minor!
These pictures were taken on the set of 'Morning Glory.' She certainly looks upbeat! (Although I don't know if this was before or after her injury ;)

Diane Keaton and Harrison Ford were spotted on the set of 'Morning Glory' Tuesday afternoon in NYC. Diane was seen in a fit of hysterics while her hair was wrapped in curlers. Seriously, does anyone else just want to have lunch with her one day. She seems like a ball of fun!
Morning Glory centers around a News Anchorman who quits his job and gets "recruited by a hotshot producer whose looking to revive a failing morning show."
The comedy is set to release July 2010.
