DJ AM's Autopsy Was Inconclusive
An autopsy of DJ AM's body has come back inconclusive. Adam Goldstein's cause of death is still unknown.
"The cause of death was inconclusive because we need to do additional testing," New York City Medical Examiner spokesperson Ellen Borakove told PEOPLE on Saturday, a day after police discovered Goldstein, 36, dead in his Manhattan apartment.
"The testing would include toxicology and tissue testing. We don't expect any results for several weeks."
Borakove could not comment further on the case.
"It's under investigation and when the investigation is complete we will have a cause of death and a manner of death," she said, adding that the ME's office is investigating in conjunction with the New York City Police Department.
The next few weeks will be very hard for Adam's family.
Report: Crack Pipe Found In DJ AM's Bedroom
This is just terrible and the story is starting to get ugly. TMZ is reporting that a "law enforcement source" says a crack pipe and pill bottles were found in DJ AM's bedroom. Nothing is confirmed - but whoever TMZ has on their payroll has been on point in the past countless times.

UPDATE 8:35 PM ET: A law enforcement source on scene tells TMZ a glass "crack pipe" was found in his bedroom. The pill bottles were found in the kitchen.
UPDATE 8:10 PM ET: Sources say a pipe commonly used to smoke drugs was also found inside the bedroom.
No word on whether or not the drugs were RELATED to Adam Goldstein's death though. We will need to wait for the autopsy before anything concrete will be be announced.
UPDATE: Jennifer Weinman, DJ AM's publicist, has made a statement.
"The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time.
Drugs might have NOTHING to do with his death. Just because things were found in his room doesn't even mean they were his. Let's give Adam the benefit of the doubt and the respect he deserves. He was a great guy with a troubled soul and I am sure his friends and family are in deep mourning right now.
My thoughts are with them all.
DJ AM Found DEAD In Apartment

This can't be.
The NY Post is reporting that DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) was found dead in his apartment on Lafayette Street in Manhattan today.
Sources said drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment.
Let's not make any assumptions. Full details have yet to be released. No rep confirmation. I just can't believe that DJ AM is dead. He was so young and finally on the right path in life.
TMZ is unfortunately confirming the same news:
Law enforcement sources tell us he was found in his apartment at around 5:20 PM. We're told drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.
We're told DJ AM had not been seen or heard from for a few days -- one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door.
On August 25th, Adam tweeted:
"New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems."
Perhaps everything wasn't as fine as it seemed from the outside. My heart goes out to his friends and family. Last year Adam and Travis Barker survived a deadly plane crashtogether. I can't help but think about what Travis must be feeling. They became very close after the incident.
The 36 year old was once engaged to Nicole Richie and dated Mandy Moore on and off for several years.

Celebrities Attend Day 2 Of Coachella Musical Festival
Check out that coconut drink Reese Witherspoon was holding (click on first thumbnail below) as she walked away from the food court at this year's Coachella Music festival. Wow! DJ AM Will Star In New Reality Show
Everyone has their own reality show these days. I mean EVERYONE. It's cheaper for network execs to throw money at a celeb to do a show than to actually produce something with actors and writers and sets, etc.
News is out that DJ AM has just signed up to do his own MTV reality show.
Cameras will follow Goldstein, who has battled substance abuse in the
past, as he attempts to rehabilitate people suffering from drug
addiction, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The concept sounds good, will you be watching?
DJ AM Suing Learjet For $20 Million From Crash
Learjet better hire a few more accountants for the upcoming months because DJ AM is looking to take $20 million of their money. That's exactly what Adam Goldstein is seeking to cover "medical expenses, lost earnings, profits and economic damages" as well as "mental and physical pain" based on the accident he lived through alongside Travis Barker.
Goldstein is seeking $10 million for medical expenses, lost earnings, profits and economic damages and another $10 million related to non-economic losses, such as mental and physical pain, according to a document filed Friday.
A jury will decide any damage award if the case goes to trial.
A lawyer for Learjet refused to comment.
