Omarosa Getting Her Own Reality Show
... with Donald Trump, no less. Who says becoming a seminary student means you have to forego show business? Not Omarosa. She and the Donald are reunited for 'Omarosa's Ultimate Merger.'
"Omarosa's Ultimate Merger" will star the now mono-named Omarosa (nee Maingault-Stallworth) as she attempts to choose a mate from a stable of 12 bachelors.
"Omarosa was a great personality on 'The Apprentice' that was watched by over 40 million people as it became the No. 1 show on TV," said the rarely modest Trump. "Omarosa is smart, witty and difficult, but all of those qualities will make for some very interesting entertainment."
The twelve bachelors will compete via challenges for Omarosa's affections. The challenges are supposed to be both "relationship-driven" and "business-driven."
Hmmm... what do you think: could this overtake 'Celebrity Apprentice'?

Update: Miss California Is Fired After All
Well, it looks like Shanna Moakler is about to have the last laugh! Donald Trump has reportedly told TMZ that he gave "the green light" to fire Carrie Prejean as Miss California.
Trump said: 'To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else -- she treated like s**t.' "
Trump also said Carrie has refused to appear at about 30 events as Miss California, despite being contractually bound to appear.
And after all that drama! What in the world is Carrie thinking???

Shanna Moakler Resigns From Miss California Pageant
Donald Trump announced yesterday that Carrie Prejean would be allowed to keep her crown as Miss California despite the semi-nude photos that have surfaced. Today, Miss California Pageant Director Shanna Moakler has resigned her post.
'Since the press conference yesterday, I had a chance to think about
what has taken place, and I feel that at this time it is in my best
interest to resign from the Miss California USA organization,' Moakler
tells Us.'I cannot with a clear conscious move forward supporting and promoting
the Miss Universe Organization when I no longer believe in it, or the
contracts I signed committing myself as a youth,' she continues. 'I
want to be a role model for young woman with high hopes of pageantry,
but now feel it more important to be a role model for my children. I am
sorry and hope I have not let any young supporters down but wish them
the best of luck in fulfilling their dreams.' "
Meanwhile, Katie Rees, who was stripped of her crown as Miss Nevada because of nude photos in 2006, is complaining of a "huge double standard."
'Semi-nude photos are semi-nude photos,' she told E! News.
'I don't know why I am the only one who was punished for their
behavior,' she said. 'I was only 19 when those photos were taken of me,
and it was me in my personal life, far before I was crowned Miss
Nevada. Carrie actually posed for these professional semi-nude photos.'I think that's worse.' "

MTV Does Positive Reality TV
Where did the music go on MTV? Maybe it's moved over to VH-1. In an effort to combat declining ratings, MTV has announced plans to develop 16 reality TV shows over the next four months.
In case you forgot, MTV pioneered the reality TV trend with the show The Real World in 1992 (long before Survivor, which first aired in 2000). Now MTV is leading to another shift- away from the backbiting drama that most reality TV is known for these days.
'Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment,'
says Brian Graden, prez of entertainment at MTV Networks music channels
and president of Logo. 'Our shows are going to focus less on loud and
silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves.'"

50 Cent Calls Donald Trump Senile
Oooh, I can't wait to hear how Donald Trump will respond! We already know he's not one to shy away from a feud. Donald claimed that 50 Cent's new reality show, The Money and the Power, is a cheap knockoff of The Apprentice. The rapper responded by calling Donald "senile."
"Donald Trump talking about my show and how it’s a knockoff of The
Apprentice? He’s crazy! "That’s what happens when you get older - you
start to view things differently. First, let me point out (my show) got
the highest ratings.I said, ‘What’s the matter with Donald?’ He’s got a little age on him.
He must be getting senile." And the hip-hop entrepreneur also took the
opportunity to hand out his own career advice to the property tycoon,
adding: "In this economy, he may want to go sing ‘In Da Club’ instead
of selling real estate!"
Has anybody seen 50's new show? It does sound kind of similar.
